Is Bush a trip or what? COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - President Bush is monitoring Hurricane Rita from an Air Force base in the Rocky Mountain foothills, seeing how the military is working with state and local officials battling the storm more than 1,000 miles away. Bush's schedule Saturday called for breakfast with troops at Peterson Air Force Base, home to the U.S. Northern Command, and a briefing on Rita. The storm already had dumped heavy rain on Gulf states and was headed for oil-refining towns along the Texas-Louisiana coastline. The trip comes as polls find Bush's job-approval ratings at the lowest levels of his presidency, following a widely held perception that he and federal agencies had responded sluggishly to killer Hurricane Katrina. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050924/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_hk1_1 That devil must believe we think like a bunch of chickens who wake up to a new world everyday.
