    It's rain
    Again
    I pretend
    Summer
    Is dancing in my mind
    The kind that has me
    Nakedly
    Warmed by fire
Desire sets a flame in ones heart
    Perfect for a rainy day
    But a rainy life
    Has no umbrella
    Saturated in salty pain
    Stained tear drops
    Fall
    In love
    I don't remember
Winter ain't never been cold like this
Maybe if I pull away the weeds
    Planting seeds of wisdom
    Spring
    Will bring me blossoms
    Forgotten leaves
    Will blow away
    Like whispers in the wind
    Oh, how my soul pretends
    Wishes the garden grows
    Without the rain

    Roxanne

how you tinge this beauty with the sadness that a loveless winter is....when nakedness cannot be warmed by the fire, when there's no umbrella for a "rainy life".

I'm moved by this....as I get soaked in So. Cal. rain tonight. :)

    thank you
