    Writing black History

Expressive mixtures of pride is like repressive strictures
Of A partied, cried to free myself from racial fixtures
The non white minority was right over the black majority
Has an alert mind had to work all the time like a whack sorority
Under a whip as the thunder ripped my back and left scars
Not healing the slop pealing my skin not allowed at deft bars
Rejected and black an expected attack everyday the very way
It was in Africa and America being black you had nothing to say
Pride ached had to be wide awake on the inside hate steamed
Like boiling water struck in the hip couldn’t duck the whip seem
To be everywhere, my cash lack as whips lashed my back only dream
Of freedom, since I couldn’t read wouldn’t need books, shook
By slavery no bravery in this, bottom revealed went to look
And work in cotton fields cooked in the sun and that’s a fact
don’t eat fat food got an attitude my stats won’t elude black
history which was a whack mystery here in America the act
of murder and rape daily I grew close to Alex Haley to attract
my ROOTS nowadays see the air so lame have to prepare for
a hurricane then came Katrina made my brain meaner even a car
don’t roll as much as my thoughts now if I was Michael J fox
I’ll be able to stay on cox cable and go Back To The Future and shock
Folks need a plan for hot elevation then there’s the Emancipation
Of Proclamation, shocked a nation it stand with the information
Freeing the slaves and seeing America in saved from the dramatization
    Of the Black Anti-Christ
