I turn off the light to set the mood
    Is the mood just right?
Or do I have to twist and turn
    Stand on rocks
    Piss in the toilet
    to set the mood,
    is the mood just right?
To feel or get deeply into myself
to spill a few overnight thrills that resulted
    in pain
    Just call me Pain...
I would rather live in poverty
(Lord knows I don't need to lose anymore weight)
But I shouldn't have went out on that date...
Now, it has me staying up late,
tormenting myself to explain that three years ago, my January 7th diary entry didn't speak of rape.
    I wasn't pinned down,
Lord knows I didn't try hard enough to get free.
I just breathed a little, in misery, and said,"you're hurting me."

    SANCTITY OF A WOMEN"S WILL

Baby Girl- your piece conveys the awful pain of the tragic event told so vividly. Writing is an instrument of healing and through writing, faith and those of us here that support you- your spirit shall soar.
