Wouldn't it be nice if you could go to a library and read up on all the different systems: Capitalism, socialism, tribelism, etc., goon line to converse with people who live in those systems, then make an intelligent decision about what kind of society you'd like to live in, go to such a country and apply for citizenship without anybody questioning your patriotism.

what do you know about the different systems? Which would you rather live in and why? Is your choice based on tow the system looks on paper or how it is actually practiced? What countries come to mind tht practice the system you've chosen?

i've studied systems being a student, but I don't know if I could give a fair evaluation of all of them since I have only lived in a capitalistic society. The foundation of my ideal system would be a system that truely did allow an individual to do anything they want through equal rights, opportunities, etc..........People can throw labels on systems, but if there are corrupt people who control it, it will ultimately fail.

I am impressed...particularly with your last line. but would add that sometimes they don't fail they keep going and people suffer. Burma, under the dictatorship, has closed the door for years, only way we even know what is happening to the people there is from people who have escaped the borders to tell the tale. Ethnic cleansing of the afro-mixed ethnic Jungle tribes has been going on by the majority Chinese out there and we hear nothing.

I think it would be eye opening no matter what we chose.
