Lets say that your spouse was charged and convicted of crime that was not directly related to your family, and they were sentenced to life in prison, would you still stay with them?

Not gonna be able to do it, although I would try and be supportive inasmuch as I could.

I suppose exceptions could be made due to the nature of the crime, the how and why. If my spouse blew someone away for say, molestation of my kid or a family member, rape etc., something like that, I'd have to reconsider.

    Wow!
    Never knew love had limits.

I would have to say that it would not be easy, but if I truly loved her, I would.
It's like I saw when my father died when I was 15. My parents married at 15, and stayed together their whole life. When my father died, my mother never remarried or had any type of romantic relationship with another man because she truly loved him.
    I am my parents son.

Life is not forever in essence, so apparently so

Would you stay with your spouse if they were wrongfully brought into a life, and given life under false pretenses- pre tenses- or pre senses?

I'm already doing life, for my spouse, guilty of nothing

prison says lights out but that's the point, just cause one can flip the switch at times, it doesn't mean they control it

Are we not all serving life sentences right now on one level or another and our spouses stick with us.....?

If we look at it that way, then reconsider MisInterpret's question, we may not be so quick to throw our spouse's out with the bath water....
