The Worse Company I've Dealt With Here is a synopsis of my problem with HP. I bought a computer (HP Model No: PX721AA-ABA, HP Model Name m716n) January 14th, 2006 and due to my leaving town for emergency purpose I didn’t get to use my computer but a couple of times. I watched a dvd movie and I transferred a few pictures of the family to a CD disk. I never connected the computer to the internet because I didn’t have time being so busy. When I finally got to my home again and I get ready to test all my computer functions, I found that there were several ports that were non functional, plus the dvd drive (& DVD writer) was not working either. I read the trouble shooting and system recovery guide and implemented the procedures to the letter but was unsuccessful in getting the computer to function properly when it concerned the dvd drive and several ports. I called for technical assistance and got transferred from one support technician to another. They gave me a case number. To make a long story short, I couldn’t get the system to work so I went to the store to get my money back. They looked at my computer and could not trouble shoot the problem and repair it. Now I’m stuck without a computer and I have realized that HP doesn’t really treat many of their customers right and they are giving me a hard time (as well as the store managers). There are so many things wrong with my computer that I knew it was going to cause me more problems and time than I could tolerate. To rectify this, HP needs employees who can speak proper english and they need a rapid problem resolution team that care about customer satisfaction. Based upon my extensive research of complaints against HP, I anticipate one long drawn out process of frustration inflicted on me due to no fault of my own. I have already been inconvenienced for several months, and now it looks like I’ll will be without a reliable computer for another month. All I ask was that they be true to their promise of customer satisfaction without causing this customer more headaches, and they can't even do that. Update: On (4/27/06) I received my computer from repair, it doesn't do anything now but make a buzzing sound. The repair has made this computer WORSE! As predicted, my HP computer is causing me MORE problems. I have NEVER been through anything like this before in my life and it's a shame that so little consideration is put into customer satisfaction. The repair people always make it seem like your computer is okay and you are imagining things, but the truth is that they patch up your computer each time and the patches don't last that long. Eventually your computer will continue to have problems. But Customer service cover up these problems by SAYING THAT THEY DON'T SEE THE PROBLEM! The computer had to be sent back AGAIN (5th time). Finally, the customer service agent was so rude that I refuse to talk with him ever again. This guy was so arrogant that he told me that: "nothing I did would bother him because it would all come to his desk." BEWARE OF THESE TRICKS! I'M STILL TRYING TO GET JUSTICE but their customer service sucks to high hell!
