Has anyone hear read the book 'World's Great Men of Color?' I just puchased that and 'They Came Before Columbus' by Dr. Ivan Van Sertima. How about that book (They Came Before Columbus)?

    Regarding One or Both Books:

What did you think of it?
    What should I look for?
What do I need to be aware of?
    What is signficiant about it?
    Any comments/suggestions?

    Not bad.

By the way, it depends on your definition of 'hit.'

The significance of all of the works by Joel Augustus Rogers is the fact that he was a SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHOR.

Rogers was a Revolutionary in his day who directly confronted the myth of "white supremacy". This was sppecifically done in his first publication "From "Superman" to Man".

My Dad used to tell me how Rogers suffered as he was blacklisted and branded a Communist during the McCarthy era. Among emerging Black Nationalists, this made Rogers works even more popular.

I recommend reading each and every book you can find authored by J.A. Rogers.

    Peace!
