this poem is for the little girl inside of me
who will one day learn to use her voice instead
    of her words.

I am tortured by words unspoken
words form on the tips of my lips
my mouth sways like fast moving hips
    but..nothing.....nothing

minutes pass, days pass, then years
but nothing escapes just silent tears
why tell now? what would be the use
cause who gives a **** about last years abuse

I am trapped by words unspoken
they continue to weigh on my heart
    my unwritten oath of silence
    tears my happiness apart

maybe one day by god's grace
i will find the strength in me
and unlock my soul then my
    words that are unspoken
    ....Wont be

(lets all pray for that day)

    Thx 4 tha comments

Welcome, Welcome..Do make yourself at home...because you surely are.

Spring Clean all the clutters of your mind,
life is too short, to carry such crime.
You are a Queen..sit high on your throne
we're glad you stepped into this palace called home.

We would be honored to have you join us in "sister chat" Monday night @8pm est.
    Again ..welcome.

There are so many things I relate to in this poem.
I think we all know pain to some degree, but rare is the person who confronts it.
Even more rare is the person who confronts it and defeats it!

    I really love this poem.
    The emotion.
    The sensitivity.
The whole expression is on point!

    WELCOME TO THE DESTEE FAMILY!!!!!!!!
    Peace and Love
