You cursed me with your words yesterday
I felt a sting to my heart with every word you would say
With each utterance that expelled from your lips
I felt you breaking my skin with your thunderous whip
They say that words don't hurt, but your feelings they sever
and they leave emotional scars that could last forever
I wish I could just forget all the things that you said
but I can't stop the words from surrounding my head
The way you exposed my emotional setbacks
cause an intrusion of my mind of negative things
letting me know what truthfully I lack
and that to this world I have nothing to bring
So I guess I should thank you for the eye opening
since I've internalized your words I now know I have nothing

    This flow is incredible!!!!!!!!
Words do damage no stick or stone can
    Just as wrong words kill
    Good ones heal
    Delete the lies
Fill your mind with truth.....the sun is about to shine for you :spinstar:
    Much love

Words can certainly cut deeper than a knife, mental scars take longer to heal, if ever. You worded this on point.
