    They hung him high

It was a day dark and eerie
They marched him up to Calvary
He carried in his arms so weak and thin
The weights of all my soulful sins
A crown of thorns adorned his head
Blood ran free from arms and legs

    They stretched him wide

A nail for every woman and man
A tear shed for all the land
A sea of faces near and wide
A shout for justice a spear in the side
A tormented mind for what needs to be done
For all mankind old and young

    He hung his head

For 30 years he taught us all
How to love, how to live and how not to fall
Because of him I’ll one day be
On the right hand side of the one so heavenly
He served a purpose for us …for them
And for that………… my highest place will be at the hem

    And then he died

    For me
    ......For you
    ............For us

He was hung up for our hang ups!

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man would lay down his life for a friend.

Natasha, this was tight and inspiring...he made the ultimate sacrifice that we might have a right to the tree of life and I praise him for it.
