    how could you?

    why would you
    v o l u n t a r i l y adopt
    a word so hatefully used
    to bruise your d i g n i t y?

    would you?

    could you
    face the families of
    men and women
    who died so you
    would nolonger be
    subjected and forced
    to accept degradation
    and explain to them
    their loved ones didn't
    died in vain?

    what do you feel?

    how do you feel
    proudly identifying
    yourself as a "Nigg*r"?

    you say, "***** doesn't
    mean the same as Nigg*r"

    I say,
    "It's too **** close!"

your finger is on the trigger
of the gun that will kill us
    double standard nonsense
    defame an entire race
    can't you see?

    do you understand
    when you do wrong
    it unites us?
    what derogatory word
will you adopt for us next,
    spade?
    coon?
    jigaboo?

Ok.. I need to you break it down for me.. You flipped the script on me.. First you says it wrong.. then you say the invention of a cruel word adopted by our nation used to hurt our people is what brought us together. I'm just a little lost..

    Hey Shaneak,

    How ya been?

First I would like to say, derogatory words adopted by our brothahs and sistahs

The line, "when you do wrong it unites us" meaning: We are always under observation, when something bad/negative is done, we are grouped together in the eyes of society. When something good/positive is done, it is viewed as an individual special case. (my opinion)
I hope this will help you see where I'm coming from. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the flo.

cocobutterskyn how i've missed you and epiphany's pressence.
this piece is soooo real and tyte.

i hate the word and it's variations and different shades of usage.
my peeps who use it are ignorant
as those who made the word up anyway.
