Brothers....If your woman put on weight after marriage and I don't mean a few extra pounds, I mean she put on WEIGHT. Would you still view her as attractive? This question came up when me and a few brothas were chit chatin'. One brother said, he would give her a chance to loose the weight and if she didn't, it's over. Another said, he'll leave right away. Me, my response was "I don't know". I don't want to leave my woman over something that appears to be superficial but at the same time, you have to be attracted to your woman...Brothers, what would yall do?

Sisters, go ahead and jump in this also.

I would put a chain and lock on the fridge  No seriously what I would do is start an exercise regiment with her. Help her loose it by exercise

the ironic thing is that men tend to...

put on the weight faster than the women.

So should the women leave those men too?

If we are going to mention everything superficial we should include:

    Balding
    Impotence
    Aging (in general)

I have always thought that women go through great lengths to look good for their men.

If you are a man that thinks your woman should not gain weight after marriage -- just make sure you keep your six pack. :lift: :weights: :cardio:

The difference is men can't prevent these things from happening.

close McDonalds up and nothing in the frige but ice !

Really i don't feel the need to preasure my make but as i see her spreading i would
try to help root out the problem i'm sure many time lots of married women gain weight
from stressful problems or simply relaxing back letting self eat and not watching what
she eat or staying fit.....I loved her then and will love her if she hit da heavy mark !

I'm not saying that a woman shouldn't put on a few pounds after marriage, that's apart of life and growing old. But dayum, some women truly let themselves go right after they get their man.

I know this one brother whose with a bangin beautiful sister, they got married and had a baby. The brother was for certain that she would eventually loose the weight from her pregnacy. A year and a half passed, not only was she not loosing the weight, she was actually gaining more. It came to a point where either she looses it or they divorce. I thought that was a bit superficial until he told me that, it has come to a point that he can't even "get it up" when trying to be sexual with his woman. She lost the weight eventually and everything worked out.

What I'm trying to get across is that a man has to be physically attracted to his woman, this is what usually draws men to women in the first place, is their looks. Now I know that looks aren't everything when it comes to finding the right mate but they do play a part.

Okay.. have you ever responded to a thread changing the topic a bit??? :danger:

But to continue down this path...... :)

What kills me is how some brothers are so superficial in selecting a woman , but when a woman says that I want my mate to be VERY financial stable LIKE myself people get upset. HUMMMMM

IT SEEMS LIKE A DOUBLE STANDARD.

GOOD LOOKING PEOPLE... SHOULD BE WITH GOOD LOOKING PEOPLE.
IN SHAPE PEOPLE SHOULD BE WITH IN SHAPE PEOPLE.
..... I am ONLY reiterating what has been IMPLIED... therefore
PEOPLE ON A CERTAIN FINANCIAL LEVEL... SHOULD BE TOGETHER... TOO...

I have notice in society.... that the THUG type love being with the women that look like MODELs..... <-- What is that all about?

I have seen alot of women that were in tip top shape... walk around with men that look like their fathers <--- What is that all about?

To each his own..... but a woman's body does go through changes as she gets olders. GUESS WHAT ... a man's body goes through changes as he gets older too.

If you cannot see the inner beauty in the person that you would like to be your life long partner -- probably you should not get married.

We are all ONLY getting older.

    The facts are:
We are all going to gain some weight --- in different places.
We are all going to lose muscle mass -- and become more flabbier than we like.
We are all going to get gray hair - some sooner than most.
Most women will go through MENAPAUSE ----LOL
SOme men and women will get to the point were THEY NEED EXTRA HELP for sexual related practices. <-- This will be in pill form or surgery.
We are all going to start getting wrinkles and cracks in our skin.
Some may have thinning hair... others may become bald.
    Some may break some bones.
Some may get breast cancer or prostate cancer.
    Some may become blind.
    SOme may become forgetful.
This does not even list all the diseases and complications that come with getting older....

ABOVE all ... WE WILL ALL DIE.

So... when choosing your life mate... just ask yourself if you would still love them if the thing that you value most about them changed???

I know Mr. Black Man really loves a certain part of my body. I told him.. what I need is to know.. that he could love me enough... that he would still want to be with me... if I got breast cancer and had to have a breast removed.....

    :tweety:
