This is not how we started.
This is not how we are supposed to end.
    When I first saw you.
I thought it would be forever
I saw you and me to the end.
I saw you from a distance.
I made my way to you...
    You turned away
Fate brought me back to you.
    Been years, no even more.
Forever I thought it would be
    You and I
    Now that’s a dream
Lost I can’t there is no hope.
    Without hope there is nothing
Along the way I now understand
How time and this world can skew
    The love the heart
    The touch and the start
And tear me away from you.

I feel like crying right now, because much of this resembles my own life as of now.

Thank You for the read Angela.. you know I lost my mo-jo, inspiration to flow like this somewhere in the last few years.

I just found today a book I'm published a poem in that came out in 2004. I wrote a poem back in 2001 the exact hour 911 happened.

If i may...Let me share when I received my copy of the book. I flipped pages, sorted thru the book for over half an hour looking for my poem. It was on page one. That is funny still to me.

I wrote the above poem and at the time my heart was in that place. I really went thru that. I felt that. I have some relationship experience and moved past that moment. The recipient heard the same over and over but didn't hear.

How are you Brother? Long time. You and I have some of the same interest. The law stuff! I'm in Tracy, but that shouldn't stop you and I from meeting at a law library and kicking off some exchanges. One of favorites is the Stanford library. Keep doing what your doing brother... Your awesome and thanks for the read.

    Thanks Brother Nahshon

This poem is about a love at first site. A deep love that thought would never , ever be shaken. Working everyday to secure this relationship can a journey within it's self. in this life people somehow get lost, loose focus on why they started something.

Time isn't important, time is never lost. It moves with or with you. You know how people break up and all they can focus on is how many years they gave someone? They would have been alone, or with someone anyway. So why count years? Stay focused on the relationship. The fact that person is lost or not as close any more should not be a determining factor on ending a relationship. There may be children involved and for the sake of that tread lightly on how things fold or unfold. They say, you never miss your water until... but the water flows both ways.

If ending a relationship make sure all was done first to fix it, rebuild it. this gives peace to the heart or it should. If all is lost then.. what can one do?

I wrote a flow expressing the relationship in terms of a vessel like a ship. In a relationship each come with something.. a means or something to give. Along the journey. each have to be conscience and know whose ship they are on.

Don't put holes in someones ship, don't let friends and infidelity ruin the relations. If they sink, or is brought down. If the other person abandoned their ship when they entered the relations and didn't tie off. ( know who is driving the relation-SHIP ) They go down as well. If someone is together and bad times like financial times come along, they both can switch ships, and the other carries the load.

The ship is an analogy and should be seen as keeping some emergency money or jewelry to help get back on your feet.

I believe a woman should keep some credit in her maiden name if she marries. ( when the marriage name credit is damaged... the maiden name will help re-establish something ) It can be used if both go down. This will help both rebuild.

Oh brother Hodee, I think you have me confused. I think you mean Sis. Candeesweet, I seen where she was flowing with Bro Nahshon earlier this week.
I'm not equipped to post from my cellphone yet.
