Residents at 1277 Morris Ave. in the Bronx talk about what it's been like living for months with no heat or hot water.

“I might as well just close down the house and go sleep on the steps,” said Mr. Wren, a 56-year-old newspaper hawker, who lives in Apartment 53 with his wife and son. They are among the roughly 25 men, women and children who live in the building.

this is an issue in all hoods

across america

having no heat

no able to stay warm is not the move

especially for dark skinned peoples

i don't know where 1277 but i used to work after school at this school @ morris, college ave, and 167th st

i think the school was JHS 22 but i could be wrong

i used to walk from the "D" train @ 167th st and Grand Concourse
