    Deep blue sentiments of winter;
    a calming peace lays dormant
    over the freshly fallen snow as
    I sit back and wonder about life;

    This is the moment of tomorrow
    when life takes new meaning as
    the meadow is covered in a new
    blanket of winter warming joy;

    I like to sit on the steps and see
    the innocence of life portrayed
    through the building of snowmen
    smothered in a child’s laughter;

    I can close my eyes now and know
    that the day has brought me a new
    sense of purpose and my life today
    will be a walk of solitude eternal;

    I find peace in my reflection, never
    looking back to yesterday’s pains
    for they are just a moment of time
    erased by the sweet scent of serenity;

    And now my walks in the park are
    full of completion as I return my hand
    once held by aspirations and dreams
    into the warm comfort of my pocket.

    beautiful picture...

    as i imagine you
    and others sitting on
    porches...
    park benches...
    or just standing
    in their place of serenity
    reflecting...

    past...
    present...
    future...

    i reflect

    i love the winter snow~
