I sat in my window sil this morning and watched the sun rise
I thanked God for this beautiful and glorious day

I heard the birds sing a lovely song
    and watched the morning dew
    disappear into thin air

As I sat in my window sil this morning
    my thoughts turned to you
and how I long to see your face, hear your voice and feel your warm touch

As I sat in my window sil this morning
I let God know how grateful I am that he keeps blessing me
    over and over again
How thankful I am that he never has failed me even when I didn't obey

As I sat in my window sil this morning
I wanted to let you know that
I love you dearly and that I will always be here for you
even when everyone else seems to have gone astray

As I sat in my window sil today
I watched the sun turn into a ball of fire
Kids splash and play in water
    Friends, family and acquitances
husle and bustle without even thinking
to give God a second thought
Or even stopping to say to a friend or foe hello

    I thought about you today
As I sat in my window sil today
I yearned to know you were safe from all harm and danger
    physically, mentally and emotionally
but my window sil didn't seem to want to let go

As I sat in my window sil tonight
I watched the sun set and the moon rise
I said a prayer for you hoping that you also heard my plea and cry
that I wished you were near and not so far away but yet so close
that I hope you understand you always have a space in this home and a place in this heart

I bowed my head again in prayer
thankful that I had seen another day
and grateful that I had not gone over the edge
see my window sil is outside on the ledge

Sitting out on the edge of love, about to topple, so close to that one, but yet, so far. Your words felt so earnest. Enjoyed the flow.

Lovely peice that touched me with living on the edge of life and death depending on whether you go in the ledge or continue out.

Thank you all for your love and support.
I want you all to know that for a while I have been MIA because this thing called at computer (at home) has been on the blinks so in between at work I sneak in and check on everyone.
I have not been able to comment and let you all know to keep writing please. I am enjoying your work but sneaking in and not able to let you know.
Soon things will be back to normal.

    Thanks again
