The wind can't be caught, can it?
Just try, I dare you
I've attempted to do it
many more times than I'd care to
try to admit...
You can certainly feel the wind
When it's gentle, it's a breeze
so calming it is to watch it softly
swaying the leaves on the trees
A little stronger, it's a gust
sort of takes you unaware
one minute the air is still, the next
the wind is sifting through your hair
Then you have those days that are
just plain windy, and you can feel it 24/7
Papers are apt to scurry, and hats can fly off heads,
one of nature's little reminders sent from heaven
Tornados aren't likely to happen, but when they do,
something gets destroyed, and is no longer the same
So unreal those whirling swirling winds, like that of a children's
classic. So, off to Oz you go, Kansas is gone, what a shame
But, as forceful as a tornado is,
even winds of this magnitude, cannot be caught.
Perhaps I should just enjoy it for what it is
For seeking to capture it, is for naught

The wind that blows
Knocks off my feet
It shows
Grasping for air
Needing every breath
Reach for the wind-Gone with the wind
Winter winds give me chills
Put to death so many
Thats real
Hurricanes like katrina
No doubt no love from FEMA
Thats reminds me of Rita
The wind has no mercy wind the updraft is shown
Wind that knocks the power out
Trees and poles topple now
Leaves that blow
Its settles down
Brisk of breeze its over now
Darkness fades its over now
Homes are gone its over how
People lost its over how
Woman raped its over how
Homeless shelters its over how
The wind has shown so much torchure now
Windbags like Bush sgould be over now

Much Love Poet

Ill wind
chill, wind
stop making those
branches bend
and snap
making leaves look like
a sea of hands trying to clap
weather beaten skin becomes ashy
and dry lips to begin to chap
Oh wind
What happened to us?
As a mere gust you were my friend
but now you remain
fierce, like a hurricane without end

Thank you Tantrum for your response in flow.

Wind blinds the eyes
Head cold and teary eyes
After school home work wisked away
The smell of jutown poilishes in the air today
Wind that knocks down walls
Mobile homes in trailer parks
Wind that makes your car shake
When your driving on I88
Gust that makes the dress rise up
To the blush on the face when it just came up

Flow on poet
