Yeah, I know it's taboo and all but I thought it would be cool if we black atheists or free thinkers (if that seems like a friendlier word) could have a forum to discuss certain topics in? That would be very nice. :)

I think the 'open forum' pretty much serves that purpose. Not just for 'atheists', but for anything that doesn't have to do with 'god' or religion. Everyone discusses 'certain topics' in that forum.

It'd be nice to just have a forum section for non-theism in general, but I don't think there are enough of us.

    It would not make sense.

There's no such thing as a Black atheist.

    In the Spirit of Sankofa,

.......Very good point ABSiblings, the very word, atheist, breaks down like this: a theist.

    :)

It always amazes me how much Africans admit to hating themselves.

"Negro" relates to "Necro" because Africans were obsessed with their ancestry, their after-life, and their God. This was AFRICANS. There's no Black atheist. There are only God-loving Africans and tanned Europeans.

Who ever heard of unity among Africans in Atheism? That's the White man's Philosophy.

We might as well have another thread on White Supremacists.

    In the Spirit of Sankofa,

.......True, it becomes a non sequitur...since atheism is largely the absence of belief that deities exist.

    Peace In,

    Question:

The definition of a freethinker is one who rejects established religious dogma. This does not necessarily mean a non-belief in God. So, does this new thread allow for the input of freethinkers (such as myself) or is it strictly for atheists?

    Just asking for clarity.
