The players are planning to boycott, so this could get real interesting. The real ref's will soon have the commissioner eating out of their hands.

The more these players get frustrated, the more injuries will occur & shot's to the head (like with Matt Shaub) because the head hunting is back in effect because the players don't think these replacements will call it and they definately don't respect them.

Some of these ref's are going by college rules (like with the catch int he monday night game) because that's all they know. they didn't call the interference on Tate because in college that is allowed on a hail mary play, especially if it's the last play of the game and Tate is what?, A 3rd year player who still knows that rule all too well. He gambled & won!

One thing is for sure, this incident isnt going to disappear. It's all over the national news and the talk shows. The only thing that could be worse for the team is the Giants being caught in a drug induced orgy with minors. This is bad for the brand. If the players are talking boycott, fans on sports radio are talking about not watching. Add to this the injury scandals and suits. This doesnt look good for the brand. The 1% lost big time on this one.

u just never seem to dissapoint when it comes to disrespecting females.

giant's orgie with minors? why would that be on a persons mind in a thread about nfl ref's??

are all of your threads just set ups? i'm starting to think you've been stabbed before.

About time. I was getting sick of the "Replacement Refs" reality shows that had football games sprinkled in to add a little variety to the show. :rolleyes ron:

The NFL and its locked-out officials agreed to terms on a new deal late Wednesday night which would put officials in place for this weekend’s games — including Thursday night's game — sources close to the situation confirmed. Both the NFL and the officials' union later issued statements confirming the deal.

According to the sources, the final sticking point related to the much-discussed pension plan, but that stalemate finally ended.
The sides are currently working on paperwork according to sources and at least half of the 121 locked-out members must approve the new deal, but sources said that is expected to be a formality, with the vote coming Friday.
''Our officials will be back on the field starting tomorrow night'' for the Cleveland-Baltimore game, commissioner Roger Goodell said. ''We appreciate the commitment of the NFLRA in working through the issues to reach this important agreement.''
The agreement, which is an eight-year deal, culminated two long days of talks that included Goodell at the table. The deal must be ratified by 51 percent of the union's 121 members. They plan to vote Friday and Saturday in Dallas.

Now that an agreement is in place, see how the replacement official fiasco blew up and was finally solved.

''Our Board of Directors has unanimously approved taking this proposed CBA to the membership for a ratification vote,'' said Scott Green, president of the NFLRA. ''We are glad to be getting back on the field for this week's games.''
