    I guess we cant forgive
    and forget
    I guess its too hard
    to just let it go
But I don’t understand the difficulty
    In letting it go
    What would it hurt
    To stop the verbal assaults
    Why cant we
    As Nubian
    Goddesses
    and
    African
    Queens
    Stop the hating
    The backbiting
    The whispers
    Why cant we
    As professional women
    As CHRISTIANS
    Stop the threats
    The nasty stares
    The comments
    Why cant we
    Stop
The world is already against us
    Fighting us
    Trying to keep us down
    To keep us
    From rising
    To the top
    Why do we
    fight each other
    Bring each other down
    Keep our sisters
    From rising
    to the top
    why

***been goin through some stuff..this is what im feeling...***

    sometime it's hard to understand
as it apply for women and men
many feel challenge to some fact
from the essence they may lack
or the purity deep in there soul
    because they wasn't rightfully mold
    sometime it's the insecurity fold
but forgiven is easy as gold
just we never forget when we see it hold

I feel you here and what the mind seem to not let go til the truth is told .
    Peace and unity

I've been through this pain, and it surely hurts to be just doing your best, and hated by your own for doing so. I felt these words poet.

There are many, many "Why's" of the world, ...
    Why...
can't we empty the glass, wash it...and refill it with "unity" ?
    Why....
can't we start a revolution, and embrace one another, oppose to being against ourselfs ?
I'm on your side poet, we know to well what you're saying, thanks for dropping it on us.

And welcome to a place of love, ARKontheRise...happy to have you aboard.

    Arkontherise-

    Amen...poetess,
    I hear what you sayin'
nothing short of a fact, so potent and glorious,
you see it on the news, workplaces, in school,
black on black crime, another thing that keeps us behind,
our black men, our backbone, our kings,
killing one another, all because of gang colors,
our black women, our stronghold, our queens,
like Ark said, "back bitin', and professin' Christians givin' off the evil stares",
we all went through it, and still keep movin'
but one thing for sure, when we love we love hard,
that's the gift that god gave, so we can stand tall,
gotta give credit 'cause we love our brothas',
look at how we act when a white woman becomes his significant otha'
gotta give credit, cause when we see our sista rockin' a hot do,
we become a bond, you know like Elmer's glue,
so, what I'm tryna' get at, is don't worry 'bout one's that's ignorant,
just try to understand where they been and why they act like that,
try to educate, and remember that we are one,
and yo' just keep your head high, and don't forget where you came from.

----A word of encouragement to you Arkontherise----

    Nubi.
