why does the river bend?

why does a heartache effect the soul from within?

why are there april showers
with flowers in full bloom
and when tornadoes drop in may
why is the sky filled with clouds of gloom?

why did the river overflow?

why do heart breaks
cause trembling quakes
that shake our insides to and fro?

why did the child have to know
...what the child didn't need to know?

why?

Answer to my Why....

My child you ask me why does the river bend.
And like the wind how can i begin to answer you question...
But with a suggestion of your intent...
For when you grow old...and your life starts to fold....
You'll see the house that cause the river to curve...
down that path rounding that black tar road.
and back into the oceans its rightful place on earth.

And i would tell you if I could answer that myself...
How a heart could hurt your soul within...
and like that whining wind that whistles in you ears...
You heart is your emotions...locked within your brain...
expressing how you feel...

Amd april showers with flowers in bloom
and tornadoes that drop in may
filling the sky with clouds of gloom.
Simply kneel down on your knees and pray...
Ask you father take those poor clouds away.
But without them your days will be dry and hot...
and burning in heat like a melting pot.
For he gives us things for our earth to survive...
which off these things your life thrives....

So my dear child why ask why....
for god give us these things as blessings
with lessons....
to and fro....
so if you don't know now....
eventually you will have to know.

I hope you didn't mind...I just thought this is so sweet and cute..I could actually picture a little child asking these questions. Actually me when i was little girl...always asking questions.
