What do you all think about the absentee voter ballot, as an option? I got information sent to me in the mail recently because I'm over 60, and at first glance I thought this was a good alternative to actually physically showing up at the polls, but now, I don't know. We have a hard enough time when we go to the polls of having our votes counted, how do we know our votes are being counted if we send them through the mail? I'm skeptical now and yes, a bit paranoid given our political system. Either way, how can you prove your vote is being counted? Just 'cause you got the "I Voted" sticker doesn't prove much.

Before 1865 the majority of slaves in AmeriKKKa could not read, write, nor comprehend the trickery of the game called politics. Therefore, the rant that ....many of US died in order to have the right to vote is lame. So miss me with this brainwashed rhetoric. IMHO rather than wasting your time voting inside a process that insults your intelligence --why not form your own game changing political platform that addresses the self interest(s) of YOUR OWN PEOPLE ------COLLECTIVELY. Surely, this is not a difficult task, or is it?

Elections are all rigged and your black vote will not change 'this fact'. Eye say 'this fact' because Eye voted in 2016 for the very last time. The way in which the election was handled, told me all that Eye will ever need to know about this process:

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote at which time
the electoral college stepped in and changed the
game by changing the matrix of the game, vis-a-vie "the
allocation of congressional electoral votes per state.

The identify of these 538 electors is stealth. The 'electoral college' is defined as "a process, not a place" hence the hidden double talk of the word <college> is really handled by a group of nameless people who organize around a common goal.Eye have no idea what that common goal could be and neither do you. Do you?

We have James Wilson to thank because he became the go-to-guy who spearheaded this "process, not a place" after the founding fathers who became wary of giving this absolute power to the People ---otherwise known as goyim children in Congressionbal circles--- to elect a President, who is just an elected figure head --controlled by a shadow government..

These founding fathers also felt that giving this power decision to:

    1. the Congress would create a conflict of interest
within the separation of powers amongst the 3 branches of the government.

    2. the Citizens would not be sensible, realistic, nor practical and leave the 'elected" President at the mercy of local interest groups.

    3. the State would leave the 'elected' President at the mercy of state interest groups

This most clever of substitution hacks actually has the people electing not the person who is running for President, but rather electing the person(s) hiding behind the person who is running for President --who have secretly pledged to vote for a specific person running for President. And, and get this --the people are not privy to this secretly-hidden pledge. Therefore, in essence you are voting for the secretly hidden pledge made by the elector in your own congressional district. Eye might point out here that these electors can and do cross party lines in order to fit the secret agenda behind their pledge/oath.

However, know and understand that their agenda is far above any understanding that you or Eye possess.

Fine1952 you are two years younger then yours truly but your wisdom is beyond your years, actually it is beyond compare because you have hit the proverbial nail of truth right on it's ugly head. Very few people out of the aviation loop really don't understand why commercial airline, military, private pilots and Tracon radar operators absolutely refuse to submit written UFO contact reports to the FAA. Project Blue Book is the most expensive comic book ever written. Back on topic.

    Can anybody spell: SHADOW GOVERNMENT?

None of us are traitors because you choose not to vote and believing it's important to vote out of respect for our ancestors who some died for the right to vote is not lame, in my humble opinion. Some of us are offended by those notions.

Okay, all of us know the American and now Global "systems" are rigged against us--Black people. Proof of that has been stated a gazillion times here at Destee in hundreds of threads. Many of you understand this better than a lot of us but it doesn't take a so-called intellectual genius to figure out that Black people have a long history of struggle in this country.

The dilemma as I see it is that some of us, knowing that, still choose to get involved in different processes believing that by doing so will eventually change the system to be more equitable and less race-based. Some of you ask, "How's that working for you?" Well, probably not as good as we'd like, true. But, why are some of us still willing to put a horse in the race, to run as hard and fast as it can, expecting different results, even though we never seem to win the race?

Looking at our history in America, our advances seem to move at a snails pace but some of us will call that progress while others may not see it that way. Others of us, having reached our limit of frustration, call for a different plan of action; a different collective body of Black people, with different thoughts about what the bold and more invasive actions we should take to help ourselves.

To vote, or not to vote is the question that some might think divides us in this conversation. For me, the different opinions expressed here is a beautiful and necessary thing. I have learned a lot from all of you. I believe that, in the end, no matter who votes or not, we help each other regardless by the different actions we take. It doesn't have to be one way or another, does it? Diversity among us shows how versatile and full of resolve we are as a people. Let's each do what we believe are the best things to do and maybe somewhere down the line, we will meet each other in the middle and we, all, get what we want in the end.
