Black People Politics : Why the term African American is mostly offensive

Yes mantra is a word, but it describes sounds that have no meaning and whose effect is in the mental enunciation of them.....in other words the are mental tools of concentrate and meditation, often the have no meaning outside of usage and context.
"things go better with coke" is a mantra.......

I see her point but I don't make decisions based on what WHITE people do.

I am a BLACK man in America...not a "Black American".
...Bro you should be clear on the term Black. It is a term that was adopted by us as a primary reference during the 60's Civil rights struggle. It is in all actuality, Slang...or a Regional Vernacular Race term. It was a counter call to White...White Supremacy...Black Power, but the world is not just Black and White.

...Our current voting power is in combination with Hispanics who we share a like ancestry with in the Caribbean and So. America. Hispanics have their own Racial issues as people with complexions from Black to White. there is also the mixed Race and the Asian populations that adhere to our struggle in one degree or another. We can't forget them.
...we don't "normally" refer to the rest of the spectrum as brown or yellow people.

...Black and White are exclusive Race terms with a specific history. White is connected to White supremacy and White privilege. It is a cause of strife and Black is a counter ( in struggle ) a mirror in fact. Black is also connected to the reversing of color negativity in society. We use it as an expression of pride, but it has it's superior references too, so if we are against White anything with all of it's Racial implications, then we must consider the racial...not Racist counter that is also based on color assumption! The cause of Whiteness is wrong and oppressive, the response of Black is a response or reaction...not Racism itself, but questionable in the context of color ID none the less!

...properly said in the context of history, we are African Americans or people of the African Diaspora!
