about a year or two ago i stopped talking to white people.
i decided it was a waste of my time.

So James, when you go shopping or something like that you don't even talk to the sales associates if they're white?

oh, jeez! totally there with ya, Brother James!

i can't stand it. say something simple to a kakasoid and it's like you're speaking another language or something. some kind of way they always seem to take what you said and spin it into something completely different and then get bent when you try to get the convo back on track. and the harder you try to get it back on track, the more they just gotta keep talking about the bs that they "invented" out of what you said.

i swear it makes it really hard to leave this apartment! every danged time! but, shoot! there ain't much of nobody else around! i do get a nice break when i go into a smoke shop (asian and middle eastern, mostly, up here) and can share, for a moment, a piece of the "Real Earth Pie" with them. we get a good giggle out of the silliness and share a moment's peace actually touching the beauty, truth and wisdom of having a personal "connection" with This Earth. (beauty, balance, hozho, yin-yang, the Mysteries.) although, like us, they aren't immediately expecting someone to touch that place within them. when they realize that i have touched it, it is just wonderful to see their eyes light up!!

those sales associates are just paid tools of the enterprise in which one is doing business. to me interacting with a sales clerk is just the same as interacting with an atm or a cash register. they aren't "people" in my eyes at that time. and since i only encounter them in the course of them performing thier paid function, i never have to give any consideration to them being a "family person" a "son" a "daughter" "good looking" or "a jerk". just another cog in the machine and only necessary to "communicate" with them like a cash machine.
