why some people suffer from high blood pressure

    It is a known fact that too much stress and/or worry can lead to high-blood pressure, but could we actually make our own blood pressure high? Yes, and there is a name for this disorder, something I call worry wort syndrome. Some of us sit and worry about little things, when in fact we already know they will be worked out. we pace the room, cry,shout,yell, and numerous actions. yet when it is all said and done we wonder why our b/p is so high. Some of us need to just relax, and do what the doctor never ordered pray. If you are experiencing high-blood pressure problems you might want to do some metitation or yoga to help mellow out your mood and your inner spirit as well. Taking those deep breathes from the old diaphram could actually teach you to be more calm and tranquil when it comes to stress. So my brothers and sister's don't blow your top, stop, think, breathe, realease.

    yes but some time worring is part of our daily living
    we worry about our children / da job / our mate
    sometime da wrong foods can slap it up high !!
    ya right we need to relax more and releas our emotions
    hummmmm!!! is dat whats wrong wit me........!!!!!

    Just let it go brotha, let it out. Pray, meditate, breathe. I have often found my self in the situation as a worry wort. But I found out there were somethings in my life that made me feel that way. So I had to realease those things. Somethimes the things that are stressing are our loved ones, but sometimes we might need to stay away from them for a while as well. Take a vacation, or a trip to clear your mind. Stress can be triggered by food as well, and maybe we need to change our diets, or limit how much of the high blood pressure triggers we consume. I have been in this world for only a few years, but God has led me through some toughies, so pray and ask god for guidance, he may not come when you want him but he is always on time

    I notice that many people who worry about things and become stress
    not only run there B/P up high to a point of a stroke but also bury self
    in the drinking or heavy smoking which leads to more problems but why??

    why do we do this, when we well know our living we born into depression
    and oppression as people i even seen how many falls short of recovery
    from stress and other related things that give us high B/P prayer is a key
    but sometime a brutha or sista need a little more reality check to know
    everything will work itself out ........

    What other ways can we fight stress and worries that seem to loom on
    us daily ?????

    One of the things we need to stop doing is worrying about things we have no control over. But besides, prayer, meditation, exercise, proper diet, I'm not sure what else to offer. Maybe most of us just need hobbies. Learn to paint. Take up tennis. Do something that calms you down and makes you feel good without compromising your health/well-being. I find my BP going up whenever I feel stressed out about everyday struggles. I write. I play silly, made up games with my son. I have quiet time, where I do nothing but sit and think. (And usually fall asleep.)

    sista Toylin those are some good value ways to help
    but what if the problem weight in so heavy that your
    mental mind won't let you convert to thinking of other
    things but how and what can be done ????
    maybe rest and sleep can help take it off or maybe their is a
    med for this to relax a person !
