No President is perfect, yet I keep seeing folks talking so down on him like he is the worst thing that has ever happened for us. I don't get it. I keep hearing these complaints and ignorant remarks, yet no solutions especially folks who are of the same race as he is. If you cant do better than he can, then why complain for? Why arent you out there trying to make a difference because you sure aren't helping make a difference by standing by and being so judgemental of the man. You dunno what he goes through everyday, and how things are not as simple as you may assume they are. Through all the racism, and us not having the right to vote, and people who died for us to have that right, yet some of yall crap all over that, sitting by the sidelines as some of you may say and such, and now we have a black president finally, our own is still got something to complain about. Do you even appreciate how far we have come? I wonder that sometimes. We need to be focusing on making history for ourselves, because one day, a hispanic will most like be president, a chinese, and so on. We need to be building each other instead of tearing each other down. I am sure yall know this but do you even care? Seriously, what did he ever do to y'all? Why is this creating a divide rather than unity? I'm just curious. hate me all you want, but i could care less. because at the end of the day, he is still president, and actually making a positive difference for us, and you are still who you are and where you are, yet you feel the need to take shots at him like you can do any better than he can. real talk

I think that a lot of the naysayers don't understand politics. A lot of anti-Obama sentiments have to do with his Bi-Partisanship. Ironically, a lot of anti-Democrat sentiment has to do with Democratic Bi-Partisanship. The problem is that Bi-Partisanship in a Divided Congress is Politics. As long as we neglect to recognize this, we'll neglect to appreciate just how good a President Obama is.

But I'm quite finished with those naysayers. Obama won. They can cry, cry, cry, and cry. Obama won.

Also, you definitely can't sit up and say s**t especially if you did not vote. Yes, voting is a minimun length avenue to helping make a difference for our country, but if you didn't vote then you really are a non factor in this whole mix really. Real talk

lol - i just predicted this thread or 'excuse' and line of reasoning in another thread about an hour or so ago because i know this train is never late.

Shouldn't ya'll be happy and ignoring these so called 'haters' in your resident loving midst?

You ask why are we arguing with each other, without even ackknowledging that the 'obama haters', (some who even voted for him the first go'round..smh) are simply airing their opinins of him and the power his seat supposedly holds, thenthe obama-ites step in and personally attack those opinios which creates those arguments...

Then, ya'll go from thread to thread, like in the 2nd presidential debate thread taunting those 'haters' and when they enter, they are personally attcked again...:10500:

Is everyone black supposed to agree with him just because? Some did and now they are wondering why and feel played...

Nothing has changed, as you falsely imply in the rest of your message. Nobody can GIVE you the right to anything, especially on stolen land. Those right's must be taken by force, or they can and will be taken back by the wicked one's who rocked you to sleep when they gave it to you in the first place.

Ain't that right just about up? And haven't they already EXTENDED it a caouple of times already?

If you mean STALKED by me, why that just plain silly and reveals your need for attention. Especially, since i was not the first to respond to the thread.

But, if u have to take it there to make yourself feel better, please do. I simply responded to the threads question.

You respond to it, as an obamanian trying to take your own thread OFF COURSE by not responding to the information provided, but instead with ANOTHER PERSONAL ATTACK on a so called obama hater....

btw, those crying are the one's starting threads like these to try and create more drama. I actually told ya'll he had it in the bag yesterday in a post. So how much of a 'hater' can i really be...

If you feel 'i just don't get it', then explain it don't just say it like when you claim so much has changed since the time when we couldn;t vote. That's a parrotted & empty statement that can be proved wrong very easily..

HE MURDERED AFRIKANS! (as most resident's have)
    HE SUPPORTS SAME SEX MARRIAGES
HE FOR SURE AIN'T ABOUT CHANGE
    so on and so on

But what you don't get is that i'm talking about a seat which is why i use the term RESIDENT, more often than not and not the man per se.... I know HE HAS NO POWER, but he has no problem being used to DESTROY HIS OWN WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE.........sometimes i don't think ya'll know what reality is.

Would you be making the same apologies, offering the same excuses, for the POTUS if McCain had happened to win in 2008 instead of Obama?

Which is the basic flaw in what I see as hypocrisy coming from most of black America regarding Obama. They used to be just as critical of the POTUS as I am now ... until Election Day 2008. Overnight, once the POTUS became a black guy, they started being offended by anyone who did not join them to rally around the flag and support whatever bs comes out from the oval office.

I never thought I would live to see the day that black America would become as blindly supportive of American hegemony as white America was during Boy Bush's first term. But, y'all sure proved me wrong on that.

Black folks are acting like Laker fans. Kobe executes one of his gravity defying moves, and Laker fans start bumping chests and congratulating themselves like Kobe did that for them instead of recognizing the obvious --- which is that Kobe is an arrogant self-absorbed ego-maniac who does what he does for Kobe, not for the fans.

Similarly, Obama won last night and black Americans are bumping chests and congratulating themselves like Obama did something for them. But the reality is that Obama is the typical politician --- an arrogant, self-absorbed, ego-maniac who does what he does for Obama, not for We the People.

    Wake Up.

I will wear the naysayer label for the moment but it has nothing to do with me hating Obama or not knowing anything about politics. Just the opposite.

I broke down and voted for him in anticipation of these kinds of arguments and prepare yourselves because i will keep asking the same question until I get some straight answers and then some folks who will work towards solutions.

How many of you can honestly state and prove that your net worth has increased the last five years?

That's all the concerns me right now. The rapid decline of Black wealth and the increase of poverty in our communities.
