:bowdown:If this worshipped surpreme immortal Deity [GOD] is such a loving divine Enity, then why do millions of God's worshippers actually worship in fear? After all, the Bible is certainly filled with violent acts, etc. Why are there biblical :flaming:punishments, for disobeying God's [commandments] rules, etc? Did "God" or "Man" create these "scripted" punishments? Does this "Deity" really require a "Judgment Day", and for what real "explained" purpose? Or did these Theologians and Scripture Writers add this to the Bible scriptures as to further burden humans.? Now comes the question, "Why Should God Let "You" Into Heaven?" As all of you say such a place exists.:uhh: and your answer is? :computer:

When the word "fear" is used in the Scriptures it often means Respect, Regard, Reverence Wonder and Amazement.
The "fear" and trembling part comes into play when one is in a state of disobedience...as in a Father figure as a disciplinarian.

After all, the Bible is certainly filled with violent acts, etc.
Yes...Nature can be Violent

Why are there biblical :flaming:punishments,
There are Laws of Nature, if and when broken results in pain and suffering which Man calls Punishment.
When the Laws of Nature are obeyed results in Pleasure and Happiness which Man calls Blessings.

for disobeying God's [commandments] rules, etc? Did "God" or "Man" create these "scripted" punishments?
The Commandments are Man's understanding of Natures Laws and how best to experience (their)Blessings.
God/Nature Punishes no one or thing.
The act of disobedience carries its own retributive punishment.

Does this "Deity" really require a "Judgment Day", and for what real "explained" purpose?
I think I gave my opinion on that in another of your threads.

Or did these Theologians and Scripture Writers add this to the Bible scriptures as to further burden humans.?
The Information in Scripture is True.
Theologians explanations of it maybe expedient to their own political agenda.

Now comes the question, "Why Should God Let "You" Into Heaven?" As all of you say such a place exists.:uhh: and your answer is? :computer:
God/Nature does not let you in or prevent your entrance to Heaven.
Heaven is a State of Mind...Yours is the decision to enter in or to stay out.

Really, "where do we go from here?"
There is no There.....only Here

words, as expected from you. You think you do, but you don't, that is understand that which you think you are making me undertsand. Heaven is a state of mind, right? You sir, are so lost! No pun intended. You make it all sound good, but is it the exact truth? That's where I will differ with you and your books. Apparently you read well, etc. And you repeat well, etc. But do you really know? I'll leave it there for now...

I will take that as a compliment....Thank you.

You think you do, but you don't,
Then Come let us Reason Together.. So that I may learn from You.

that is understand that which you think you are making me undertsand.
I do not claim to understand it.....Only share what I know.
Hence I am eager to Learn.

Heaven is a state of mind, right?
Yes...That is what I gather from Scripture.

You sir, are so lost! No pun intended.
I am indeed....that is why I search for Truth
I am a Truth seeker....If I were not lost, I would not seek.

You make it all sound good,
Thank you

but is it the exact truth?
Only Life's Experiences can Answer that....

That's where I will differ with you and your books. Apparently you read well, etc. And you repeat well, etc.
You are too kind....Yes I love books.

But do you really know?
I know a little and have much much more to learn

I'll leave it there for now...
I look forward
