Brother James ... you don't like him because he's manifesting the conditioning that has been put upon all of us?
We all manifest the conditioning, in some shape form or fashion. We may not do it like he's doing it, but we do it.
In fact, what you're doing now, could be considered a manifestation of the conditioning. First, to simply not like another Brother, for making the choices he feels is necessary for him and his life, under this system of white supremacy we all live in. Secondly, attempting to diminish another Brother in the eyes of others, is exactly what white supremacy wants to happen, and you're doing it.
He's just a Brother, like any other Brother ... doing what he gotta do, what he can do, to eat as best he can.
If that is the reason why you don't like him ... what Black Person do you like?
Do you like me ... for i have surely manifested the same conditioning ... maybe not like yall ... but i've done it ...
he is worth over $100 million
'Martin Lawrence is an American actor and comedian who has starred in the movie Bad Boys, Life and Big Momma's House, his net worth is $105 Million'
For clarification, are you stating that there is no need for Martin to dress up like a woman, since his net worth is $105 Million?
yes, if i have 100 mill in da bank i do what i want to do. i assume this is what he wants to do. i don't like it.
So you don't mind the black male image being overly represented as "down low"
or gay.. we know that from previous threads.. in fact, you go out of your way
to defend any perceived insult to gay people BUT..you do mind men dressing
like women for comedy because.. you feel it's degrading to the black male image?
Is that an accurate representation of your pov?
these guys are not out as gays they are doing it for the money.....
yes, i do defend gays right to be. i believe gays should not be hated. i do not hate gays.
i do hate the phenomena of black male actors dressing as females for "comedy". i don't find it funny.
i dislike tyler perry and i think his work is bad for black people but i do not want him killed by a hammer.
sorry if my feelings are not simple. i am a complex person.

.......Thank you my friend TXDiamond for helping the board to fully understand the position taken, and for framing the issues placed on the table, so to speak, much thanks. And since there has been a dichotomy of sorts in the logic, relating to protection of gays and protesting black men, in comedy, dressing as gays; I'm moved to see, perhaps, the entire list of hatred the thread starter maintains, aren't you? ...Peace In again,
Brother Bobby talks alot about the amount brothers portrayed either wearing a dress or being shot in the ***:
i am dealing with the fact that many if not all of the black male actors have performed in a dress. i don't like that.
