    why does she?

    why does she?
    look at me and see,
my edges that are nappy or
the way my hips sway free..
    ladies wit babies
grace the walls of the cracks they fell thru
    neva to imagine who
would be the one to pull them thru
    cussin and fussin
bitin the hands that were trustin them to be
    i'm wanting them to see
the nations that were once we
    like ntozake
i share smells of subway scents and magic
    its tragic
how we can act so together
    biting backs and
    backing bites
    that flow like no never.

    peace

Nice flow with even continuity and imagery!

Loved the fluidity of this piece like a nice jazz wail on the sax, so beautiful yet so full of pain! You went deep...I appreciate you sharing! More please!
    Blessings On ya House!
