Black People : Why din't Citibank ask us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We spent 800 billion last year, yet citibank has to go and beg foreign nations for a mere 20 billion to stay afloat.
So when we talk about the corporate oligarchy, and the manipultion of capitalism,
who has the real power????
And when wil we get our collective economic act together?$$$$$

"THE BALLOT OR THE BULLET"

"ALL REVOLUTIONS ARE BASED ON LAND"

I will just take these two "ideas" from brother Malcolm X as a basis of my evaluation of the question you pose. This said, I do NOT see "getting our collective economic act together" within the framework of amerikkklan demon-ocracy and monoploistic capitalism.

Months ago I spoke concerning the empending "doom" in reference to the housing market and the banking crisis. Each day as I monitor the financial and business sections of numerous publications I see "babylon fallen". Not fallling, but fallen. In a rapidly deterioating economic downturn. Meltdown.

In many similar situations the government has been able to bail out financial institutions. This time around, that won't happen because the us government is undermining it's own financial institutions by undercutting the mortgage and housing industries.

As quiet as it may be kept, a large % of black people are homeowners. I have seen figures claiming 70% homeowner ratios for black families. Across economic classes. However, a lot of folks are dependent upon their home equity, upon refinancing, in order to pay off and consolidate debt. I read an article today explaining how one home equity lender is preparing to write off as loss a large amount of this debt without forcing foreclosure. However, this will deepen the credit crunch. The same thing applies to new home starts. Rapidly declining to levels back in 1981.

What his means is that the Bush administration has been applying the Reaganomic "trickle down" side-economics and now the well is running dry.

Most "revolutionaries" I know today still speak of "exploiting capitalism". Well, capitalism is bankrupting it's financial infrastructure, which is resulting in a deteriorating superstructure.

Let's take Barack Obama out of the picture, even though this is almost impossible to do at this point. Where is the LEADERSHIP, political and economic, working towards the financial and economic self-sufficiency, independence, or SALVATION of Black people, within the financial and economic sectors? This country is run by an "Invisible Government". A GLOBAL network of monopolists and a growing number of FOREIGN STAKEHOLDERS who have no interest in rectifying the social ills that confront any americans, black people in particular.

Personally, I think that it's way past time for black folks to organize their individual FAMILY units, work collectively in a more cooperative manner [Ujima, Ujamaa] and network with other FAMILY UNITS.

Back to basics.

There is no such thing as a bloodless revolution, and in a capitalst country, there is nothing more bloody then the dollar, hey ,just look at the symbols,if you want to take it there.
It is good IMHO for one to decide wether one is in the fight to win, or just fight and talk about it

Some folks want to paste the horns back on a dieing devil while they fall off, and with all due respect,
let me break it down plain and simple;
the INVISIBLE GOVERNEMNT, spiritually feeds on death and horror(see Ted Gunderson also OTO)
but physically feeds on dollars,

I don't know where, some folks have been but these cats are scrambling all over the planet to rob oil(Iraq, Kurdistan, Iran) and uranium (Dafur) and drug(Afghanistan,Burma, Pakistan{70%income from heroin})(Coumbia, "Barry and the Boys" by Daniel Hopsicker)
supply, as in dope!

Kofi Annan said global oil revenues are billions but illegal drug revenues are trillions.

Folks should read books like "Beyond the Rubicon" the "Politics of Heroin" and "Dark Alliance" and books by "Peter Dale Scott"
Now however we may love rhetoric as I said corporations are scrambling overseas for nickels and dimes while we spend dollars here..
And as you and I know the press is manipulated bull, this here situation is probably a whole lot worse then they let out.

Now , fact of the matter
1. this is a beast that thrived
on slavery and colonization
that is what it's billions and power are based on, and now that folks have been and are liberating themelves, these parasites are desperate and are reduced to piracy(Skull and Bones)such as Black Flag operations(Terrorstorm, Alex Jones) and bogus wars to steal resources.
2. the PARASITE feeds on one thing;
MONEY
3. WITHHOLD MONEY from the parasite and, ........well you took biology right?

I get your point and agree...this goes in line with my own present situation..."WITHHOLD MONEY from the parasite and..."

I wont go into detail..lol!

However, I will give you an example...A few years ago I owned stock in about 30 companies and started selling off then put my eggs in one basket, which was probably a bad idea, according to investment advosrs, but what can Merrill Lynch tell me when I know they are going under...?!

Everything for me is a matter of timing so I took my money paid off my student loans since the interest I paid was not tax deducatable then re-invested in SIRIUS when it bottomed at $2.45 a share but I put the money in an IRA stock fund to "shelter" it..this was before the merger talks with rival XM satellite when it was about $30 per share...well my stock appreciated and I recently sold and took the distribution....I have sold two homes over the same time period for close to $600k...

well...on paper I now have ZERO "net worth" from liquidating everything but considerably less debt...because what good are homes if they are over-taxed and I am not able to build equity in a depreciating market...

so now I am close to being "bankrupt"...on paper and now when I get credit card statement they go to my shredder...im like catch me if you can knowing they gonna write the debt off as a loss....do i stress about credit rating...not any more since banks are going under...so i am not shackled by concerns of "debt" just like I dont worry about wearing a watch.

sounds stupid to some but...no foreclosures...no liens...not tax defaults even though im waiting for IRS to come at me for whatever else they can but who cares...a lot of folks...especially white folks in much worse situations...

I had five bank accounts and started closing those in nov and dec of 2007...keep one open for autodebit of paycheck but only keep enough for basics...rent...insurance...storage. the rest i keep "hidden"

just started downsizing....and if more of us did the same this system would collapse....buy only what we need not what we want...

i worked at a 7-11 last summer and it was enlightening to see how many young white [yuppies] would come in and debit everything....complaining about their marboros and price of gatorade..lol!

point is everything here is a paper tiger that is losing its bite...even with declining credit scores citibank still sending me mailers but no go...its gotten to a point that with the few cardes I have left they wont even let me close out accounts unless i pay off in full...some companies are so desparate that they will settle for 60% or more....i still ignore them...

i dont care if i die intestate as long as i got enough insurance to pay for my burial or cremation...my daughter will collect whats left of the insurance and if i dont have assets to declare she wont have to file probate cuz i aint got an estate anymore....

this is my own rebellion against the irs and thats what they get for coming after me for 40% and more of what i was earning from wages and investments...they can go to hell as far as im concerned so i really have no interest in saving this economy....

its a bottomless money pit and im just laying back watching yt lose their minds..along with their homes...and their 401k's..

as long as i can pay rent get to work and eat my red beans and rice and lentil soup im good...i got way more personal property [consumer goods] than i need and will most likely give most of that to a charity or local church or educational foundation [local food bank also] to feed and clothe some homeless folks...

most of us live way beyond our means and i know i have in the past...but not any more...like i say...its back to basics...

which means im doing my own economic as well as holistic "detox"...

like pe sang..there's a poison going on...we gotta get it out our systems before we die along with it.
