Why is it that we can spend trillions of dollars on War with the tax payer’s money and cannot defend the right of the taxpayer to have affordable healthcare? If you kill off the majority of your citizens how can that strengthen the country? Is taking care of your citizens a thing of the past? Many people in this country have no health insurance and the Republican Party doesn't seem to care. Their argument is

    1.

    Increases Health Care Costs
    2. Causes Insurance Premiums To Rise
    3. Hurts Quality Of Health Care
    4. Nearly $570 Billion In Tax Hikes
    5. Adds Over $500 Billion To The Debt
Won't health care costs rise as more uninsured Americans need medical attention?
Won't these uninsured Americans add to premium hikes?
Isn't some health care better than no health care?
Won't taxes be easier to pay if you can create jobs with ObamaCare? (What is better Social Budget cuts or Tax Increases?)
Didn't two Wars add trillions to the deficit? Wouldn't you rather get some benefit if you must pay anyway?

    What are your thoughts?

I think that the first problem is that, Black people are not Americans...never been treated as such, legally are not citizens which is why we have "Civil Rights" as opposed to the same rights that other people have...and we have to always wait to see if they are going to sign them again ever so many years. I can tell you what Obama did for the Jews since in office. I can tell you what he did for the Hispanic community since in office. I can even tell you what he did for the gays since in office. Now...what exactly did he do for Black people??????? Maybe that will help in your answer as to why it seems that WE as Black people ain't feeling no Obamacare....because regardless of what, we've been paying with the highest rate of unemployment...which accounts for our paying with the highest level of incarceration....which accounts for us paying in our blood everyday on the streets....which accounts for the fact that we're tired of the lies that our babies have to be taught in order to call it an education when it isn't....which accounts for our having the highest drop out rates (like who wants to go to school just to be lied to?)

JamesfrmPhilly is right....this is the wrong forum for that question. And who is this "we" that you were speaking of in your post...like Black people actually have anything to do with any of that which you mentioned?

So, your answer is to stick your head in the sand and act like nothings happening?
How is this going to promote change? The people have no power through protest?
The only way change has ever been brought about is through the masses of people coming together for the betterment of society. You may not consider yourself an "American" but you live in "America" nevertheless. You are affected by what happens in "America" and so are your family & friends. Like it or not "we" are part of the group which makes up the "American Society" as long as we live here.
Is the right to healthcare for every "American" wrong? Or should we continue to let Black people die due to the lack of it?

We'll since you know a lot about the "system" and what's wrong with it, and we're still living here(You & I) then how can it be fixed? If it can be fixed at all, for us so called "Richest Slaves On Earth". Got any solutions or ideas? Ain't no better place to talk about it then on the "Front Porch!"
