Why are we here on this land
do we know our beings as africans
will we ever return home
or will we forever stay and roam

This not our true place
as we still look to da sun God in da sky
asking for reasons why
who do we follow and believe

In this whate wash life of greed
mixing our nations wit half breed
killing the true nature of our seed
are we complainting or uplifting

What's going on inside our heads
as we revisit the graves of ancestors dead
are we mentally still enslaved
by what da white man gave

We no longer slaves
yes we have come a very long way
in this corrupted liberty stay
how long do we wait and lay

In americkka death slay
continue to be there prey
when we stronger to this day
why are we here ?????

if

we weren't here this country AMERIKKKAN would have NEVER had the

promenience it did, by our ancestors providing "free" labor all those

centuries, it did wonders in building an EMPIRE

we are here and we're still standing

standing tall

don't let people fool you/us

we are very strong

we are here, yet, in this land,
tho' we remain true africans.
whether we stay here, or yet roam.
hate here? maybe. yet i call it home.

this may not be our true place.
yet here is a truth that i must face:
i've sown sweat here--blood and tears.
i've earned my place here--thru the years.

yes, this is a land that's filled with greed,
murdering the nature of my seed.
but yet, i hesitate to believe
that all my struggles i should cede.

when i visit the graves of ancestors dead,
what should be going thru my head...
is every drop of blood they shed...
so freedom could become my bed.

to the white man, no more credit i'll give
for mental shackles. instead, i'll live
to destroy anything that keeps me enslaved,
or anyone that gets in the way

of my liberation. and brother,
i further do pledge,
that i will be here.
when you're close to the edge,
your struggles i'll share.

(does that answer the question?)
