is it because it is an small room or because people are afraid to breath some "let go air in"'.....
but realy from where i live everyone stops talking when they step in....
and when they say.............hello!! they look at me like i,m crazy or if i want to become friends with them or that maybe they think i,m acspecting them to invite me ......for a diner..............
yeah what is this????????????????
it is not a problem for me i was just Wondering......?

hummm! i think it's quiet coz it's small and for years many people
just don't talk on these things nothing more but hello or a smile
some may say what floor with a reply of thank u
but theirs no signs say (NO TALKING)
if i enter one with someone i do talk but
from what i found they don't coz it's so closed in and everyone can hear ya whisper so they wait til it stop and they get off
I ask someone this
here's what they said :::
I don't talk or many other is for the fact that inside this
small box you get to one floor to the next so fast and not only
that who wants to chat with so many listening to you anyway
i've been on them with bad breath folks so it's best they don't
part lips to speak i was raised to not speak on them so i don't
it was the american way back then mostly big business men was
riding them like lawyers and doctors that's what started it all
and as others begun to ride them they just blend in with the flow
see today we use these great gifts to move up faster then all
the walking and most cases people have learned to be quiet on
them if you do talk everybody looking at u like ur crazy or something
but you be on the top or bottom floor so fast you just take that
small few moment to be in hush and think somewhat

but my search continue i will get the real reason why !!!
i wanna know bad
