Happiness is intrinsic, it's an internal thing. When you build it into yourself, no external circumstances can take it away.-Leo Buscaglia

too many ministers in southern baptist churches especially are about that dollar. to maximize their take home pay, they take control of the church--anyone not in line with their control has to go. unfortunately, the younger members are more about the glamour these ministers bring, than the message. when congregations start letting ministers come into their church...and toss their "elders" out...that's a church no one should want to go to.

my sisters, in mississippi, have that kinda minister. i've repeated told them they should find another church, as my brothers have done. but we grew up in that church--my grandfather, a minister, was a founding member of the church--and they refuse to leave--they're older than my brothers. i've advised them about knowingly following false prophets, but they're not hearing me. i just hope they wake up before it's too late.

as for the centenarian, she should find a home that's in line with her faith...and let them burn in their wickedness.

No one can argue with that logic, well said indeed. The Bible has the appropriate name for that kind of pastor, a hireling.
