Is every thing always broken down into right and wrong?
    Black vs. white?
    Gods vs. goddesses?
    Christianity vs. heathen?
    Islam vs. infidel?
    Conscious vs. unconscious?
    Capitalist vs. Socialist?
    Democrat vs. Republican?
    Hero vs. sell-out?

Can there ever be multiple answers or paths?

Could Clarence Thomas be as Black-minded as Bro. Chinelo?

Could Alan Keyes be as conscious as Bro. Infometry?

Could Condelezza Rice as nation-building and loving as Sister Destee or Sister Bootzey?

Some people insist on showing and proving but can everything be shown and proven?

Perhaps cherry-picked to fit a certain argument but is supreme absoluteness a reality and even more an ideal?

Some are saying, that Blackbird.... why he come back? He's all about questions, but doesn't want to answer them himself. These are all questions I've asked myself recently. You don't have to answer them publicly in forum, but I ask for you to please ask and answer them to the best of your ability, even if in private.

    Thank you for your time.

While i can't speak for Sister Bootzey, i absolutely believe that Condelezza Rice has impacted nation building in greater ways than myself. No doubt about it. She was able to move to the absolute top of her game, advising the very top of states throughout the world ... impacting millions ... via her hard work and diligence.

Over the years, i've heard folk talking ugly about her ... as i've heard folk talking ugly about most every person under the sun. It seems to be the thing that most of us do, quite easily, even when we've made no contribution that remotely compares to those we try to diminish.

I get your point Brother Blackbird and am glad you posted.

It is my hope that we can want for our Brother, what we want for our self, the freedom to be.

    Love You!

    Peace & respect to blackbirdsm

I wouldn't expect these questions to come from anyonelse...your wisdom is appreciated..

As i always say, do what works for you as long it is something positive. I know some see me here engaged in arguments here and there, but my main point is what you are asking above -
    - I have always maintained this and my only problem is with those who think that their way is the only way. They might say they respect all paths, but the truth comes out sooner or later.

We have examples past and present that regardless of what path you choose, you are not making much of an impact anyway if you are not targeted by the wickedness of the rulers of this world. I'll never forget the words of Dr. John henrik clarke when he was speaking about Dr. King in an interview and he said back then when Dr. King was alive he didn't like him and couldn't understand his thought process. Then he said,"but i came to respect him because he was willing to die for what he believed in and we are still here talking.." Growing up I felt the same way toward Dr. King and could not phathom why anyone would willfully let themselves and their followers be beat up and or killed just to be able to sit at a lunch counter with some white people. It wasn't until i heard the words of Dr. Clarke some years later that my views on Dr. King Changed. I still didn't understand wanting to eat and drink with white people, but in his willingness to give his life for it, i'll be dam-ed if i didn't learn to respect him....

So in essence imho, yes, there are many different path's all one have to do is choose one. If the individual is one that has happened to have 'bumped their head', then you won't have to choose, as that path will choose you.....

    peace to you

    Interesting questions, Brother Blackbird.

However, since you have not graced us with the answers to these questions to yourself, I can only assume that you've since had a change of mind from your previous rigidity.

    Sister Cherryblossom,

We never have to agree, but what we all deserve is respect. I respect yoou for being you. I love you for who you are. A strong knowledgeable Black woman who stands firm and hard by what she believes. A testament of fortitude. When people can respect each other and their differing positions, an argument elevates to debate and from to dialogue. This is when true unity is achieved even in diversity like the two headed crocodile.

    What about tolerance vs intolerance?

    Are there absolutes for either?
