    Who's N***a Are You?

    Who'sn****a are you?
Open up your big n***a lips and answer the question
    Who's n***a are you?
    Are you a society n***a?...or society's scapegoat?
According to your skin color you're a menace to society
Due to your lack of sobriety, notoriety, and stability
You're enslaved to a nation that you fathered, but at the same time are bastards of reality
Allowing the white man to become your father, you let him abuse you...you...his n***a
He proclaimed his fame by defaming your name
Defaced the face of our race and made disgrace commonplace right in our faces
Making us accept n***a as our heritage
Yet, to a Confederate flag our allegiance we pledge
    Who's n***a are you?

Your homeboys down on the block say, "Yeah, that's my n***a"
Whenever I need a bag of weed that's my n***a
    Whenever I need a ride for a drive-by, that's my n***a
Whenever the cops are sweatin' me and I need an alibi...that's-my-n***a
It's evident that "that's my n***a" is just a friendly connotation of "that's my slave"
Subservient to his master, a slave does exactly what he's told
He will even die for his master...but will the master die for him?
Of course not...the master can always afford to get another slave
    Who's n***a are you?

I don't know about you, but I'm like Richard Wright
I feel like I'm "Living Jim Crow"
But my code of ethics has gone out of the window
Because this life has beaten me down with a constant crescendo of...
    Here n***a, n***a, n***a
No, I am not your n***a!!
I'm that black sister figure that wants to kill that n***a in you...and you...and you
And every other black man, woman, and child who has been fooled into thinking that the mnemonic for our race is n***a

    We're regarded as filthy...uncouth vagabonds
Branded as vampires of the human race
By some white-sheeted a**holes who consider cross-burning "freedom of speech"
Well, if that's freedom of speech then I guess I can burn the American flag and free my breach of speech and my pantomimed rhymes

How many stratums of hate can we take from a race who genuinely abhors our melanin
Do you wanna know why we're hated?
We're hated because we are so beautiful
We are hated so much that we are bamboozled into hating ourselves by degrading ourselves into exactly what they want us to be...n***as
From what I see, we're still suffering in slavery
Steadily asking our masters for reparations for bondage that we have yet to escape from

Don't you get tired of being a n***a?
Do you realize that everytime we refer to one of our brothers or sisters, or ourselves, as n***as...
That we're the hands grasping the whips that come down heavily upon our ancestors backs
Splitting their skin and reopening wounds that have not fully healed
When we call our people "n***as", we're tying the noose,
Placing it around our great, great grandfather's neck,
Hoisting him high above ground and staring into his eyes as he sheds his last tear

As his life slowly seeps into the rope, he says to himself,
"Lord, I tried...I've tried emancipating my people, but they didn't want what I had to offer."
I ask you now to cut him loose
Clean the wounds of that slave that you have beaten to death
Dry their tears and give them hope
Let them know that everything they fought, bled, and died for is not in vain
Free yourselves from the bondage of mental slavery
So in the future if someone happens to ask, "Who's n***a are you?"
Tell them that there are no n***as here
That slave is dead and only his master remains.
