Black Poetry : Who Was Jesus?

What's real interesting is that with a little patience we can actually trace the origin of faith and belief to a time period. Our ancestors didn't have these problems, why do we? They told you straight from the door: "Man know Thyself and you will know the Neter" (God)

The concept of Original sin never existed in Africa...that's a whiteman thing that came with the man made creations of "Religion".

If a perfect person was in front of you right now you wouldn't recognize it. Why? Because from childhood you were taught, told, indoctrinated and conditioned to "Believe" that no one can be perfect. This is equally why you have never heard a child say that when they grow up that they wanted to be perfect. They made sure that they killed that seed in childhood before it ever had a chance to grow. Why in childhood? Because children can conceive of the seemingly impossible. Their minds know no limits before being caged in by Sunday school and other non-sense.
ONE OF THE MOST INTELLIGENT THINGS I'VE EVER READ.

I remember thinking as a kid, why am i bad?

i'm born with 2 strikes i'm a sinner and black

and some man died for my sins i didn't commit yet so his death somehow

gives me a mulligan?

when i was 5 i knew something was off, and now i know

the spiritual nature of this world is off

and like you said they stunt your growth right out the gate

they want you to dream but those dreams must remain in inside matrix

for this is all about control and power

and the funny thing brother KEITA, is that most don't even realize just how

programmed they are to follow the leader

change will only come when crisis strikes

a real calamity

it took 10,000 years to get i would almost it will take 10,000 years to fix it

but unfortunately "so called advanced human" is on a path to destroy all that

that is around him we'll be lucky for 10,000 weeks the poison is here

get your popcorn folks

keep you eye (3rd I) close to the spirit

this will get interesting

i once wrote:

Those who can ‘see’ will ‘see’ it comin’
Those who can feel will feel the urge to start runnin’
Believers will feel that “their” God should be summoned
And others will just be wonderin’

Belief in the unseen? Sounds good to me ! I can't see a darn "thought" I have. Thoughts are things unseen. There are rays of light that we can not see....sounds we can not hear...and we need not have any faith or believe in them, for "we know they exist".

I believe that I'll win the lottery tonight...but I don't know that to be fact.
I believe that when I close my eyes that I'll wake in the day...but I don't know that either.
I believe that when I put my key in the car that it will start.....but i don't know that either.
I can believe a lot of things and believe it with faith....but the truth is that, I really don't know...and whenever I say "I Believe" I'm really saying "I Don't Know".

We were not born or put here to believe anything....our job is to KNOW...and anything we don't know, we have the capacity to know. Belief and faith are a form of conditioning that automatically and subconsciously retards or stops the mind from thinking or going any further on a subject that it possibly has the answer to.

What's real interesting is that with a little patience we can actually trace the origin of faith and belief to a time period. Our ancestors didn't have these problems, why do we? They told you straight from the door: "Man know Thyself and you will know the Neter" (God)

Miss Lady-- Great piece.

Keita-- you're very intelligent.... it's this one thing though...
knowledge, faith, belief and wisdom all operationally orbit the being of God....
just as math, science and psychology were all theoretically and then realistically applied to building the Great Pyramids of Khufu...

We know that light, sound and thought exists. If Miss Lady believes that Jesus is just as much as a real ancestor to her as Kizzy or Kunta, then she goes from believing they exist to knowing they exist.

How did you lose me and confuse me on this one? I'm still scratching my head? In other words, I'm really trying to bridge this gap between believing and knowing....because a person can believe all they want to...but at what point does it become a fact?

greetings and respect

i always appreciate and enjoy brother keita's replies, poems, and posts. i would just love to close the gap on belief and faith and spirituality and religion, please. my background and studies qualify me for the following statement.

"IF" i tell your great, great grands, grands, and your parents something (forcefully or mandatory) for hundreds (400) of years, imagine the mental impact and damage it would do if the "spirit" of my words and propaganda are geared to self-destruction! with that said, if i institute a belief system over the course of thousands of years world-wide, imagine the impact. this is what people are dealing with as far as religion. OUR (nu-bi-ans) true way of life has been maimed and/or watered down.

this is a quick anecdote for spiritual guidance:

1 cup of KNOW THYSELF
1 cup of HEALTH IS WEALTH
1 cup of HARD WORK
a pinch of GRACE
7 dashes of LANGUAGE

TENDER-ize the LOVE (of self) CARE for others and let simmer down, peace

believing spins on knowing spins on believing and we believe differently so then, what we feel we know is different. So then what is factual? What equals to facts? ls it believing? no. Is it knowing? no, because the question is never how do you know but how far do you know and we can only know natural and historical events but so far from time until the judgement is left to us on rather we accept or believe various timelines of events, people, places and things. The heart is where one's belief exists but the truth.....
Pilate asked Jesus " What is truth? " l don't want the facts, l want the truth.
