I am a Boomer. I consider this stuff about generations to be largely crap. If children are misinformed, are bombarded with unimportant information and relevant data is completely left out then what do you expect to happen?
I don't even know if my high school had an accounting course. I was put into College Prep from jump street and got 4 years of math that was more complicated but less tedious than accounting. I was one of the nerdy idiots that thought math was fun.
An accountant told me that he did not object to mandatory accounting in the schools as long as it was not done for 6 years. Until after he retired.
