    Everywhere
    everyday
    you think you come
    to save the day

    Where I'm scorned
you pop up like we just can't cope
same ole song and dance you sing
like u the great white hope

    Brother say
    he don't like
    your type
and I'm talkin bout white chicks

    But you don't listen
    you do the opposite
    you jump
    all on his shiss

    kiss his a**
    muah
like you got what he need
but like xibit I say loud and clear
    trick please

    your services ain't necessay
    cause
    for real I got his
    back

    cause i am him
    and
    he is me
    and we r truly black

    I am mother
    wife, daughter and best friend
    He is father
husband and son from beginning to the end

    I will nurture and
    love him best
    so that he may
    grow

    I want to make him
    strong
    and you just want
    mandigo

    somtimes the truth
    is real hard to admit
    but u ain't
    down for me and him

    you just want that
    magic stick

    all u can cause
    him is destruction
    with me
    he's always safe

    his eyes they
    tell me
    how he feels
and with me is his place

    we all have eyes
    to see
    and arms to reach out
    our embrace

    but every time
    he mess with you
    he bound
    to catch a case

    yeah i say it
    yeah i mean it
    yeah i chuck the byrd
    and u get flipped

    and just because
    u
    slippery

i still won't let him slip!

Loving a "piece of man" or the rumors surrounding a man's anatomy, isn't love, it's lust. The Black man is part of us, and we are part of him. You slammed this one poetess.

Me, I never had a taste for vanilla women because they make something call vanilla extract. So I always thought vanilla women would try to extract or take something from me. But a chocolate women you can't find a substitute for her flavor cause they are pure. Yaw'll coco bean women may be hard but yaw'll definitely are the sweetest of the crop as you so flavorfully demonstrated with white woman down. I think the whole title could be a parallel to a bean that's not worthy enough to hang onto the cocoa trea or a black man so it falls down while the more fruitful bean hangs onto the tree and stands by his side.

My Sister, my Queen, My Mother. My Goddess!!

    Whoooa. I gotta show love.

You are promptly articulating what we know is TRUE!

    "I will nurture and
    love him best
    so that he may
    grow

    I want to make him
    strong
    and you just want
    mandigo"

That RIGHT THERE is WHAT I am TALKING about!

Ah, got me smiling and looking over my shoulder for a Sister who overstands this.

Sucking my teeth all alone though. Nevertheless, this is a much needed refill.

Quoting Sis Badu now: "they know who we are".

They the vampires, people of darnkess (therefore they are white, see through).

    Give thanks Alkebulan Queen.

    One.

    In praise of

the divine union, which is what you've done here Miss Lady. This reminds me of the first time I read Brother Akil's chapter on the Sacred Relationship, it resonates to a place that is still and peaceful, because it is true.

In my life I've met two kinds of brothers, those who dated white women and those who did not. The brothers who devote their love and support to the Sisters only, create deep friendships and spiritual connections. There also seems to be an ability to trust more, than with the those who see no difference in the love from Sisters and the love from others.

    Well done Sis!
