    White Poison: The Horrors of Milk

    Following are some interesting excerpts from a coupld of articles about milk:

    "Got milk? If not, then thank your lucky stars. Because if you do, medical research shows that you are likely to be plagued by anemia, migraine, bloating, gas, indigestion, asthma, prostate cancer, and a host of potentially fatal allergies – especially if you are a person of color."

    "But milk is also a racial issue. Almost 90 percent of African Americans and most Latinos, Asians, and Southern Europeans lack the genes necessary to digest lactose, the primary sugar in milk."

    "Milk does no body good, but for the vast majority of the world's people – people of color – it is a public health disaster."

    No other animal drinks cow's milk, not even calves once they are weaned. The late Dr. Benjamin Spock, the U.S.'s leading authority on child care, spoke out against feeding "cow's glue" to children, saying it can cause anemia, allergies, and diabetes and in the long term, will set kids up for obesity and heart disease, the number one cause of death in this country."

    "The mainstream media and the government ignore the medical studies showing that milk is a serious health threat, in part because people of color are the main victims. The institutionalization of racism is highlighted by U.S. Department of Agriculture spokesperson Eilene Kennedy's statement on milk, that the government's recommended food pyramid is intended for "the majority of Americans. It doesn't communicate to all Americans."

    "The dairy lobby perpetrates lies to ensure its profits. It benefits directly from the exaggerated support prices the government shells out for this "health food." The government pays over a billion dollars a year for surplus butter. A General Accounting Office (GAO) study concluded that a reduction in the government price support system would have netted consumers savings of $10.4 billion from 1986 to 2001. And the USDA pays inflated prices to purchase dairy products for both the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and federal school lunch programs – milking the taxpayers and actually getting them to pay for poisoning 26 million school kids."

    "Dr. Robert Cohen of the Dairy Education Board, a nonprofit organization dedicated to exposing the milk lobby, contends that the dramatic 52 percent rise in asthma deaths among minority kids in New York coincided with the surplus milk, cheese, and butter pumped into them under the USDA's free school lunch and breakfast giveaway programs. The incidence of asthma deaths may be even higher since asthma is not a reportable disease, and asthma deaths are sometimes certified as cardiovascular disease."

    "There is also a direct link between milk consumption and prostate cancer among African Americans, who have the highest incidence of this disease in the world. A study in Cancer has shown that men who reported drinking three or more glasses of whole milk daily had a higher risk for prostate cancer than men who reported never drinking whole milk."

    The controversial Bovine Growth Hormone (BGH) – banned in most countries – is pumped into U.S. milch cows to increase annual yield (50,000 pounds of milk per cow today compared to 2,000 pounds in 1959). Milk from cows treated with BGH is likely to contain pus from their udders since the hormone leads to mastitis, or udder infection. BGH use results in a tumor-promoting chemical (IGF-I) that has been implicated in an explosive increase of cancer of the colon, smooth muscle, and breast."

    "Dairy products, including cheese, yogurt, and anything else made from the milk of a female cow, when consumed by humans, present a real and quantifiable health-risk, and include increased incidence of osteoporosis, breast and prostate cancer, heart and cardiovascular diseases, kidney disease and diabetes. Throw in increased antibiotic resistance, hormone derangements, food poisoning and possibly mad-cow disease, and it should be clear cow's milk has no place in our diets."

    It is becoming increasingly more important for people to know what foods they should not eat, because too many are eating the wrong foods, and don’t even know it! Then they wonder how they contract diseases like high blood pressure, gout, gallstones, kidney stones, arteriosclerosis (hardening of the blood arteries caused by excessive animal fat in the bloodstream – a major cause of heart attacks), strokes, serious skin problems (due to the consumption of too many acid foods), obesity, etc.

    Recent medical studies have shown that men who consume large amounts of beef have a tendency to contract colon cancer, and women who did the same contracted vaginal cancer and cancer of the colon as well. Man is on a path of self-destruction as long as he continues to disobey God’s laws of right eating. (See Leviticus 3:17; 7:26 and 11:7-8.)

    Those who have given this subject consideration will not deny the fact that man is a vegetarian by nature. It is obvious that his teeth are designed to masticate vegetables, fruits, nuts and grains, whereas the teeth of carnivorous animals – which are tusk-like – are best adapted for flesh-tearing, and are also grown apart, so as to prevent the lodgment of particles of decayed flesh in the animal’s mouth...

    Man’s intestinal tract is also more complicated, and nearly three times as long as the intestinal tract of animals that live on flesh. Besides the shortness of the intestinal tract of carnivorous animals when compared with that of man, it is also very smooth, while the intestines of man have numerous folds and pouches...

    What we see here is that the intestines of beasts of prey are constructed so that their diet of flesh – which quickly decays – may be eliminated in the shortest possible time. The liver of these animals is also of enormous size, and is very active, thus fully capable of neutralizing and eliminating twelve to fifteen times as much acid as the human liver...

    It is now common knowledge that a balanced diet is absolutely necessary to our health and well being. Therefore, in balancing our meals we should always be certain to give preference to the alkaline foods (fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts and most grains), while the acid-producing foods should be used sparingly (i.e., no more than two or three times a week)...

    Acid foods are divided into two categories: organic acid (eggs, cheese, nuts and cereals) and inorganic acid (animal flesh, various animal by-products, all manufactured substances such as white sugar, white flour and all white-flour products). It is advisable to eliminate the inorganic substances altogether from your diet...

    Alkaline foods consist of but one type, namely the organic variety. These foods are readily absorbed into the system, thus permitting the remineralization of the body. This being true, these products – i.e., fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts and most grains – should constitute 90% of the diet at all times, while the acid-producing foods should form the remaining 10%. Following this procedure, one may automatically maintain optimum health, and enjoy complete freedom from even what may be considered incurable diseases...

    ...the term "lactose intolerance" as a prime example of extreme Eurocentrism...."lactose intolerance" is an original condition, yet it is what is labeled....pityful....MOST people dont really digest dairy, let alone people of color...and no more than half of Northern Europeans can digest dairy....once we get about 4 years old, our bodies stop producting the enzymes needed to digest the lactose in milk....being able to digest milk is a mutation......no other creature on earth drinks milk once its out of infancy other than Man.....
