In the class of 2008 graduating class, a young white male was named the valedictorian. Not only this but while at Morehouse he won the Rhodes Scholar (very prestigious award).

What do yah'll think about this???

lol, I feel you...... Morehouse brings in a nice little group of white men on scholarships. Usually for sports, or ROTC or something though.

Because all Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) exist in a SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy). It is like having an HBCU in a prison SYSTEM and wondering why one of the prison guards or the nephew of the prison warden is able to attend.

Don't understand what you're looking at.

I would say that HBCU's are a part of that white supremacy system, they are ran and funded by whites for their particular interests.

lol!!! Most are on the football team, not basketball. I was thinking the same thing about the occult scene. They are sending a major message with that one. My friend has had a class with him and he said he never came or did work and still got A's.

Come on people. The white boy applied fair and square and did his thing. So what? As long as white people are allowed admittance to a HBCU it could happen. There is no controversy here.

As far as HBCU's being existing because of racism, again, so what. When they came into existence it was a path to education for our people. Would you prefer they had not gotten educated? Because the white schools were not opening their doors to the ancestors in numbers.

And as a proud graduate of an HBCU, as well as a child of HBCU graduates, I have to ask if you've ever attended/enrolled in a HBCU?

Actually, the recruiter thought he was black the entire time, almost until the very last minute he was accepted. At least that's what the article states. But you know how that goes.
