A law school professor and former criminal defense attorney tells you why you should never agree to be interviewed by the police......even if your lawyer is present!!! This isnt directly related to race but very interesting none the less. maybe it is indirectly given how many of our people are incarcerated, many innocent, many serving a sentence disproportiante to their crime. Interestingly (but not suprisingly) the examples of innocent people who pled their innocence but were still convicted are both black.
The first video is the lawyer explaining why you shouldnt speak to police from a legal prospective and he then hands over to a police officer who confirms everything he said from a law enforcement prospective.
The second video is another lawyer giving short 6 minute summation of what the lawyer said in the first video.
The third video is the police officer section from the first video incase you want to watch that first as its shorter.
