White GOP Congressman Claims He's 'A Person Of Color'

“They talk about people of color. I’m a person of color,” Kelly told Vice News. “I’m white. I’m an Anglo-Saxon. People say things all the time, but I don’t get offended.”

Eldridge Clever left this country and went to Cuba, not a socialist country but a communist country. It was the only country that would take him. He often quoted Cuba for its ability to care for its people. Cleaver was against the capitalist in America(he called them pigs) because he saw how they were raping the people.

Malcolm X was not a socialist but he did embrace many of the ideals of socialism. Malcolm X believe in black self-help and blacks doing for themselves. But what Malcolm X didn't know that black capitalism is just as dangerous as white capitalism. Without the love for ones people, black capitalism will take advantage of the average and poor blacks just as much or maybe even worse than white capitalism. Capitalism will always breed greed.

Don't forget Brother Cleaver was welcome into Cuba until some strangely unknown party or parties convinced Fidel Castro that the C.I.A. had infiltrated the upper echelons of The Black Panther Party alluding to the distinct possibility that one of the subjects in question was Eldrige himself. After being handed his hat he then went to Algeria with his cheating wife Kathleen Nash Cleaver who used his being severely Bipolar as an excuse to fornicate with another man. I had the utmost adoration and respect for sister Kathleen until that sordid dirty little secret surfaced. She freely admitted to soiling their marriage without shame or regret.

It is the desire to have the best quality of life, to make us feel secure, and in turn to make us think we will be happy.

It is also linked to power. The more power we have, the more we feel we can make things better for us and "think" we can make things better for others.

However, capitalism breeds greed. It puts us first and others second and even third. Greed comes from our selfishness and our refusing to share with others to their detriment. Capitalism makes the greed in us to exploits others for our personal gain and puts that first over the personal needs and well being of others.

I am not against capitalism. It is the lack of self-control and discipline to control our selfish desires that greed produces in our spirit being. Only love (God's love) for our fellowman and putting her or him first before our selfish desires can greed be controlled and for capitalism to work, without producing pain and suffering in others.
I understand your points. Thank you for sharing that.

Capitalism has the ability to make some rich people hate the poor and some poor people hate the rich. It's the value placed on what both chase after--money and things money can buy. It's not designed to focus on the welfare of society's people, although it tries to make you believe that it is. Those who started out not having it, then get it, don't want to lose it, so there's never too much. And, some hold on to it tight fisted. Jacqueline Kennedy once said, "you can never be too rich or too thin." I asked this once before in another thread, why do some people think that democratic socialism is a bad thing and favor a system that naturally divides people and creates divergent classes?

It's the American Business and government model to insert false hope into those of the masses who attempt to reach "Far" beyond their personal capabilities to attain the unreachable by believing everyone can become like the ruling class. Unbeknownst to them is the fact that the ruling class does not advertise for new members, new members are already born into the existing dynasties. False hope and unattainable dreams sells. It's the American way.

Because democratic socialism or even communism will also create a divide amoung the classes. You will have the ruling class which will have more and the lower classes which will have less. There is no way that the lower classes can move up into the ruling class, unless through political contacts.

The problem is not democratic capitalism, socialism, fascism, communism, etc. All will have an elite class and a poor class. The elite will always have more than the poor. The problem is in man. It is selfishness and greed. And that you will find in all of these systems of government.
