    Peace and Blessings Family,

Is there a religion / way of life, that has freed us from the oppression our people face world-wide?

If there is, please share it, for i'd like to join right away.

    Thank You!

    Paradoxically Oxymoronic

"Religion" is the WMD that maintains, promotes and trains the oppression.

As long as there is a search outside of one's Self for "salvation" one won't get there.

"Wishing you the best of luck in your search."

Brother anAfrican ... thanks for responding.

I'm not seeking "salvation" ... but freedom from the oppression my people face world-wide.

If not a religion, is there any thing you can name, that has freed us (collectively) from it?

Study and read the Holy Scriptures or Old Testament, the older the translation the better. Believe in and demand understanding of the GOD manifested in the Old Testament or Holy Scriptures, place IT’s Specific Word above all other and notice when that GOD is Speaking.

Look at the storyline, patriarchs and history found in the Holy Scriptures as referring to the days when the dark skinned race ruled the world and was greater or as great as the white man is today.

Study, study, study and you will begin to feel a freedom.

There is no religious institution apropo, that is going to "free us from slavery" (at least not on any collective level), because any ancient system that is currently being practiced, was not in effect during the times when humanity began to reach its darkest point.

Let us take Metu Neter as an ATR for example: During the times in which this system was being practiced by our people at its height, there were no white people around to enslave us.

Having said that, there are several systems that, if practiced on a collective level, could very well serve as agents of emancipation. Sadly, none of them are being practiced on a collective level.

However, many of them are being practiced on an individual, and/or grassroots level.

At this point, I think it would behest us all, to focus on what can be done, and not what has been done.

    PEACE

Brother Music Producer ... i'm not looking to "feel" freedom ... i want to own it, hold it in my hand ... i want evidence of it ... with all of my people experiencing the same ... having a life of ease, and great health, wealth, and prosperity. No more burdened with the troubles of the day.

Which religion is doing that for us ... right now?

If there is no religion that is going to "free us from slavery" ... why do we put so much energy into discussing them?

Shouldn't "freeing us from slavery" ... be at the top of our list of things to do ... with our energies going toward those things that will most likely, and quickly help us achieve it?

I wasn't aware that it had been done ... when?

That's why I said "apropo", because at face value, no system is designed to do that. But that does not mean that many systems cannot be used towards that end.

Please understand, I am a firm adherant to the notion that spirituality (as opposed to religion apropo) must be the primary impliment used to emancipate ourselves.

This ties directly in with the other thread, about why people choose to adhere to Christianity, by the way.

Our bodies cannot be freed, until our minds are freed. And our minds cannot be freed, until our Souls are freed.

    PEACE

Addendum: I just wanted to state, that I don't think that any of us talk about religion and/or spirituality, just for discussion's sake.

I know that, in speaking strictly for myself, my spiritual path has indeed set me on the path of emancipation.

Freedom is a state of mind.

Which Religion Has Freed Us From Oppression??

    Hotep

The Absolute answer to this question is:None of them! Because "We" are not Free, are Still Slaves, Still Don't Know Who We Are Yet! And We Never Will as Long as we Hold on to any of the Concocted, Man Made, False Worship in the White Suprimist Religions that In-Slaved Us in the First Place?!! Look in the Mirror at yourself and know that you are the only people on the Planet that Don't Stick Together, the only people who don't have Cultural Unity!! And you have a Church on Every Corner in your Community!! You are Still ingnoranty, foolishly and proudly going by the Names of your Slave Masters and Not your Own Ancistrial Names of Africa. Wake Up!!! "Religions" are not ment to Free you but to Keep you a Slave to It and the Ones who Made it Up and that is the System of White Indo-Europian Superimacy*
