Restaurants / Buffets

The Strip

1. Hotel Buffets On The Strip
The most popular buffets on the strip are at the Aladdin, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Harrahs, Mandalay Bay, Mirage, Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, Treasure Island and Paris; if seafood is your preference, Mirage is arguably the best; average cost for a breakfast buffet is $11-$14, lunch buffet is $11-$24 and dinner buffet is $17-$36; the buffets cover a variety of cuisines and themes, and their décor is upscale; the House of Blues has a Gospel Brunch on Sundays for $40; if cost is more important than quality, less expensive buffets on the strip are at the Boardwalk, Circus Circus, Excalibur, Imperial Palace and Sahara; for the latest price information, call the resorts or pick up one of the complimentary Las Vegas magazines available at your hotel's concierge desk.

2. Ortanique
Features Caribbean-Asian fusion cuisine; enjoy her West Indian curried crab cakes with fruit topping; Entrees include her house special Rasta Pasta, which is penne pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms and seasoned chicken; even the sides are unique; depending on the night, waiter service is uneven; entrée prices begin at $20; major credit cards okay; 3655 South Las Vegas Blvd in the Paris Las Vegas walkway connecting to Bally's;
