My mind wraps around my mind

Keeping rhythm and rhyme out of the rotation

Discriminating on scribbles and crayon thoughts

I can taste how hungry I am for thought

Thirsty for another 100 proof shot

Avoiding caught searching for high in low places

There are traces of my wing tracked journey

Feels like knees on my Black

    Throat hold in choke

    I regurgitate

    My plate is full

My mind has wrapped itself into itself

Colliding into a perfect woven quilt

Lying to itself so it can tell the truth

Words play while wisdom is not working

Revolving trying to go back the other way

    Cascading on snow drifts

    Come up quicks

Make love to me before you cum

    I am a dreamer

    I dream love

Dream you know what its made of

    Ingredients

    Quickened like grits and cheese

    Smothered something and eggs

I beg your soul to stay

You already know how to cum

    My mind is a panhandler

    No sign for change

Just stretched out like a hand asking for sumthin’

Mainly money can not be found

    Wonder grew worry roots

A spell casted out as prayer

    Know the difference

    Didn’t care for the outcome

    My Mind moving like mystery

    No clue who done it

Homicidal homage in empty liquor bottles

I sip and pour my mind into matter

    It doesnt mind does it

Chatter like frozen teeth beneath the coldest

Storm tracks left on empty sheets

The boldest ones never stay too long

    My mind is singing song

    All the notes are wrong

    It has forgotten the words

The muse is confused by off the beatened path spirits

Drinking unscripted lines like poison wine

    My mind hurts from healing

Keeping rhythm and rhyme out of the rotation

Discriminating on scribbles and crayon thoughts

Contemplation on bets if they taking bets on the rat race

Paper chasing but only picking up trash

So I scream and silence answers

A rash with no ointment to stop the break out

    I am a dreamer

    I dream love

Dream you know what it made of

    Ingredients

My mind wrapping itself around yours

    Making something matter

    Does it…..?

    does it...

    Does it matter?

Does the chatter of mind intercoursing mind

    Equal the latter

    Avoidance

    A full plate of

    “In accordance with”

    Left her wanting his

    His…

    Relation

    As sanctimonious rotations

    Rotate around hungry faces…and thoughts

    Of discriminating flavors

    Allow me to

    SaVoR

    Each moment I’ve touched you

    Felt the clues of

“Homicidal homage in empty liquor bottles”

As I sipped mind matter from

    Long stemmed, champagne azzez

    Waiting for you

    To

    Cum

    Does it matter

    Does it?

    Master Poet Roxanne,

This piece is gorgeous. The language is elegant. Every line is imaginative and new. This piece wraps itself around itself several times, toying with the reader's mind. I love that the subject denied rhyme in the rotation and then brilliantly spoke in subtle rhyme patterns throughout the poem. I wanted to quote particular lines I fell in love with but found myself quoting them all. A true masterpiece. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to reading more of your work so that I may admire and learn.
