The answer to your question is debateble. Some say when you go to sleep, specifically, REM sleep, that the person often visits the astral plane. The aborigines state that the dream state is in fact the real world, and that the world we live in, while awake, is the illusion.

processing the days events, looking for lessons learned in the things that we have encountered, or experienced since the last "update". metaphorically using other things we have encountered over life to give shape to what has been perolating in our subconscious all day.

think about the dreams you have and what you went through the day before. look at those dreams and ask why those images came to you.

This is why one should focus on becoming "Lucid" in the dream state.

please explain about "lucid" if you can.

i am more active in sleep than i am awake.
sometimes i wake up more tired than i was when i went to sleep.

also, i have seen many people in trance state. "happy", "possessed", etc.
where do they go? is it the same place?

(for a non religious person i have an enjoyment of ritual, must be the drums)

I agree 100%. I think the dream world can serve as a preview of what 'life' will be like when we die; when we will have to live through our astral bodies instead of our physical bodies.

That's that DNA speaking To/Through you. You are in reality, the same as you are on this board....An Ancient, I-ncient Elder. As for religion, you're right....Ancients didn't practice Religion--Just Pure Spirituality. As for the ritual....It's the Ancient form of what "church" is today. Powerful stuff, ritual is.
