This is a daunting question for me.
I am researching and looking by Summer to move to a state that is hiring people.
I'm in the technology field, entry-level and looking at instead of waiting, try to make my move before school begin in the Fall.
I am also looking at places where they have public community colleges.
    Start-Up Minority business-friendly.

Cisco Certified? If not.. start there. And entry-level will get you nothing in a field like this.. you need to get some experience.. a great way to get experience is to volunteer.. and also.. setup a business.. open your accounts.. get your business cards and setup yourself up as an consultant.. then look for work on the basis of what your expertise is. If you don't have any expertise.. you need to develop some. IT is full of Certification tracks that can take you from nobody to somebody with a bit of hard work and focus.

If you really want to put yourself in the game, you need to learn computer programming.. get into program development for Iphone/Ipad and Android platforms. The Cloud is killing entry level networking jobs.. you gotta make the move to something that can actual create revenue for yourself or your employer.

The American economy is not getting better.. no matter what they say on TV.. and it's imperative that folks learn that they have to make it rain on their own.. or risk dying of dehydration.

    - peace..

Would this whole cloud network put many system administrators out of work?

Is it safe going to the cloud where someone else has your data locked up , only allowed access if you pay your bill? Is the cloud thing a massive set-up? A ploy to take control of the internet?
