The end of another year.

I am thinking of you.

Your Birthday is this week.
I wonder who you will be with.

I often think, one day it will again be me.
I hope I don’t get caught off guard
when you say hello!

I know the words I probably should say.
They sound kind of plain, from my heart they convey.
You know I have always been truthful with you.

Years have passed, please forgive me.

I still do love you!

didn't think that it was possible with the pain you put me through

Who I'm with is un-important at this time
it could have been you, had you treated me kind.

Hey, did I hear you say, you still love ME?
when FREE was all you really wanted to be?

Did the grass look GREENER ...on the other side?
while I laid here night after night and cried?

See, when my best wasn't good enough, it was time to split the scene,
